  1. Lots of shuttle options in this thread. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2941683-transportation-from-port-canaveral-to-mco
  2. Each party of your group will need to check in separately to choose an arrival time. You can always board together with the latest group if that becomes an issue.
  3. There is no fixed seating (e.g., 6 and 8 p.m.) on the Edge-class ships. The menus on the app will be (more) accurate when you're on the ship. Look at the menus, choose a MDR for the evening, and present yourself to be seated. You'll be seated, although there may be a short wait.
  4. There is no fixed seating on the Edge-class ships. What you are seeing online doesn't reflect the ship experience. When you are ready to eat, head to a dining room.
  5. My thoughts: 1. I don't base my tipping on what I see other people doing or not doing. 2. I pay the gratuities that are added to my account (whether prepaid with All Included or charged nightly with Cruise Only). 3. Rarely, I tip for excellent, unexpected service. Tip how you see fit.
  6. Well, it's an hour away from Port Everglades, so the savings have to be enough for the trouble of getting there.
  7. If the OBC is from Celebrity, it'll show up in your Cruise Planner and it'll be available for shore excursions, specialty dining, etc.
  8. We live in Central Florida and prefer to drive to around West Palm Beach the day before. That was more appealing when hotels by that airport were ~$100-125. We have driven a couple of times day of, but I am stressed out the whole way. 😬
  9. It moves venue depending on how many Elites and higher are on the ship. There will be info about all the Elite events on a flyer in your room when you board.
  10. The drink package cost will include tips.
  11. The area is north of MCO on Semoran Blvd. The Hampton Inn & Suites is one, and near it are several restaurants. The area is off Gateway Village Dr.
  12. Sorry, no offense intended. I didn't see your post. 😬
  13. The bulk of the stores and restaurants are prior to security; see info here: https://orlandoairports.net/getting-around-mco/shops-restaurants/
  14. Tickets now on sale! https://www.clickorlando.com/news/local/2023/05/17/now-on-sale-brightline-starts-selling-orlando-tickets-heres-what-you-need-to-know/
  15. It's actually 7 am, although it can depend on the county. The statute: https://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2022/562.14
  16. Book a replacement? I'm not sure what the issue is here.
  17. Tell your TA it's all anytime on the Edge-class ships. 🙃
  18. I'm in my 50s. I don't generally do much at night (shows aren't my thing) and definitely don't go to Beyond the Podium talks (I work at a college and the last thing I want to do on days off is go to a lecture). Yet I manage to have a good time on Celebrity. I also sailed HAL when I was in my 30s and had a great time. If 50 is old, they should check out HAL!
  19. The gratuity is the tip. 🤷 People can expect something and not get it. Just don't leave a double tip.
  20. 100%. There is no fixed dining on the Edge-class ships. The website is incorrect. Just show up at one of the four MDRs when you are ready to dine.
  21. They not only expect it, they'll automatically add it to the bill.
  22. The airport's official website shows security wait times. These are non-Pre Check lanes. https://www.orlandoairports.net/
  23. Don't use a credit card at an ATM to withdraw cash. That counts as a cash advance, and on many cards, will result in an interest charge from the moment of withdrawal. Use an ATM card or debit card.
  24. I've had inconsiderate people on private tours, too. It's a roll of the dice.
