  1. I have "free" tests from the U.S. government, and I'll bring a couple with me to London in Sept. I'll do one in my hotel before getting on the ship.
  2. Got this in an e-mail today for my Sept. cruise (emphasis added): For your embarkation port, all guests aged five years and over must still take a Covid‑19 antigen test and receive a negative result within two days of departure. You will no longer need to provide a test certificate, however, you will be asked to confirm the test has been taken, with a negative result, for you and each member of your party as part of your pre‑boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal. Adequate tests include over the counter tests, providing they fall within our list of accepted Covid-19 antigen tests.
  3. Okay, so it's not that the OP is out of luck filing a dispute--it's worth a try if Celebrity doesn't do the right thing.
  4. I have filed disputes that don't meet those criteria (there also used to be something about the purchase being made within Z miles of one's mailing address, if memory serves). And I have been successful at getting my money back.
  5. Where are you sailing from? Italy's requirement is "within two days" so you can test once you arrive, too. Barcelona and Southampton appear to be the same. (Yes, some guests will need testing within one day, but if the OP is testing two days ahead already, that apparently doesn't apply.)
  6. I have been tested twice at Fast Test Now, and testees go inside. (There's a location in Ft. L.) And CVS and Walgreens near me have inside testing as well. (Everyone who enters a CVS is potentially sick.)
  7. Lots of info on the Florida Departures board.
  8. I don't do Apple stuff, but people who do and have a bunch of OBC find free to be a good deal.
  9. It's as stated: days, not hours. I can also see on the emed.com home page that proctoring is available 24/7.
  10. Right, but the PP says "it was one of the last cruise ships to go out of Venice," meaning, I figure, that when the ships stopped using Venice, it was one of the final ships to depart (permanently). Anyway, I look forward to 15 nights on the Constellation in Oct/Nov.
  11. It doesn't matter. Thursday anytime.
  12. At the risk of being contrarian (excellent way to dismiss opposing points of view, BTW), I'm not offended or mad that you posted a question on a discussion board. I'm also not mad that others replied to . . . continue the discussion. Don't give yourself so much credit. Hope you can enjoy any Celebrity cruise you take.
  13. Many (most?) passengers have the drink package, so it's not something they're concerned about. They get unlimited drinks any night. 😉
  14. Celebrity is offering refunds/credits (not sure which) for the days a passenger spends in quarantine.
  15. Asking people who are schlepping their luggage to disembark first helps reduce the mayhem on that morning. Technically, you can leave with your own bags anytime, but you may find it less easy to navigate hallways and elevators.
  16. If your gratuities are included in your booking, you're set. If you want to tip more, do it at the end of the cruise.
  17. Not to get too far off topic, but the Bard put those words in the mouth of Polonius, a man who spied on his own children and essentially caused his daughter to commit suicide. Not sure I'd take them without a grain of salt. 😉
  18. Tampa is a much smaller port with fewer ships and sailings. Miami can have 7 ships or more on a busy day; there isn't space designed for such a service.
  19. All Transportation Network Companies (ride sharing providers such as Uber, Lyft and Wingz) may pick-up passengers at Terminals A & B, at the ends of the Arrivals curb (Level 2).
  20. Oops, sorry about your loss, but now I feel less mistreated. 🤣
  21. Interesting. I got a similar e-mail this afternoon, without the "You've Earned" language, and my balance is still the remaining amount I had after booking a couple of things. I'd sure like to be awarded more!
  22. BPG kicks in after final payment. You should be able to simply reprice.
  23. You can use it for what you want.
