    I hear you about business class, but as long as you're both on the same plane, does it matter if you have adjoining seats? 😉 My DH and I prefer aisle seats, and sometimes we sit in different rows so we each can have an aisle seat. I figure we'll be together when the plane lands. If he's lucky . . .

    Suite passengers have their own lines, so they won't be pushed to the front of the ones you're in. 😃 This board has a lot of posts from people who travel in suites. I've traveled in suites and not traveled in suites, and I've had great cruises. You'll be fine.

    Don't forget 4) Head to the Oceanview Cafe for a snack or 5) Get room service to tide you over. You won't be able to just show up earlier because the party at the table before you will be eating. You can speak to someone in the MDR on the first afternoon if you haven't made Select by the time you sail.

    From one GenX often-solo cruiser to another: thank you for the details and the entertainment. I'm looking forward to three solo cruises this fall, two on Celebrity. For those who are on the fence about solo cruising, just do it. 😉

    I've sailed solo on Celebrity three times and have two more booked. I don't cruise to do a lot (I prefer to sit in a lounge chair in the Solarium and read), but the daily program is full of activities. You won't have a problem keeping yourself busy.

    Yes. Just letting you know that if you enter the port looking for "Mid-Port Garage" on the signage, you won't see it.

    Admittedly I am no liquor connoisseur, but I have never ordered a drink and been asked to pay the difference. If you drink the good stuff, you may need the premium package.

    Just this week, I received a price adjustment (it decreased, to be clear) on an NRD booking (haven't reached final payment) and an upgrade on an NRD booking (past final payment).

    Thanks, David. 😃 I saved $350 on my Constellation WBTA (was on hold for about an hour, but that's not a bad return). Unfortunately, my Reflection cruise in August is past final payment, and BPG doesn't apply at the moment because my category is sold out. I may try again before the promotion ends.

    I noticed a flight change that had me flying to the U.S. from Rome to an intermediate city and then on to my home THE NEXT DAY. I called and got different flights, but it was a pain. Look for the flights you might want (your original ones may no longer be available) and tell your TA to call and suggest those.

    I have complained when the damage makes the bag unusable. Wear and tear is one thing. Negligence is another. I have had severely damaged bags replaced on the airlines' dime.

    COVID is a virus. The variant now is incredibly contagious. I wish people (general "people") would stop feeling like failures by catching it. Eventually, pretty much everyone is going to get it.
