  1. After the restart, a lot of procedures changed. I used to be able to hand my insulated coffee mug to the barista who would fill it with my cappuccino. I would then hand over my seapass card to be swiped. The new procedure tried to minimize the things that each employee touched, so the coffee shop staff no longer would take my cup from me to Phillip, and they only looked at my seapass card and wrote down my stateroom number. I noticed the same in the shops. The sales staff no longer would touch my card, I would just set it against the card reader. Also leaving the ship, security never touched my card. So will they fill your insulated mug? Maybe. But if they don’t, they will hand you a drink and you can pour it into the mug on your own.
  2. Yes they are doing the new muster, and you check in prior to sailing.
  3. There’s no need to be so aggressive. People cruise all the time without cell phones and apps. Maybe they don’t own a cell phone, maybe they left it at home, maybe it broke, maybe it doesn’t have any battery left, y’all can get checked in without a phone!
  4. No, they didn’t disappear. Both ships still have a coffee station in the hideaway. They are the only ones to have this. It’s one coffee station, not one on every other floor, so I have no idea what the person the OP quoted might have been thinking of
  5. There will almost certainly be nondenominational services. They will probably ask for a passenger to volunteer to lead them. But whether there will be a Catholic priest who will hold a Mass, no one can tell you that.
  6. Music and Mixology is new and AFAIK is not on every ship yet.
  7. That’s correct. No dedicated lounge ever existed. The breakfast you are remembering is still held in the Tuscan grill on M and S class chips which is a specialty restaurant at night and the elite breakfast in the morning.
  8. It is not similar to Royal Caribbean. There is no lounge with a coffee machine available for you all day long. The drinks benefit is from 5 to 7 PM except on embarkation day. There is a menu of drinks you can choose from. You can go to nearly any bar on board. The details for I’ll be spelled out on an information sheet you will get in your state room on arrival
  9. Cementhands, I don’t know where you saw that Celebrity has an elite lounge. It does not have a dedicated space for elites.
  10. Reflection for the balconies and the sky lounge and the lawn club grill
  11. The intervening room might not be available so all you can do is ask, but that’s the problem with guarantee bookings……
  12. Haven’t seen one of these in over five years. You can always ask, but I don’t think they do this anymore.
  13. What is dreaded about the drill? It takes less than a minute.
  14. That’s right. Luminae does not take reservations. It is all open seating.
  15. Who did you share your substantial and expensive plans with? Sounds like someone is out to get you. I’d be suspicious too. I beg of you, monsieur, watch yourself. There are vultures, vultures everywhere! Oh wait, that’s a different port🤪🥴😳😲
  16. At least she didn’t brag on the excellence of the Celebrity website. Then you would know that she had really lost her mind
  17. If it is held outside on the lawn perhaps you would enjoy attending
  18. You can get quarantined for norovirus. Covid isn’t the only threat out there.
  19. The Captain’s Club events (breakfast, Captain’s toast, Music and Mixology, etc) were only on the printed invitation sheet, not on the app, on our recent cruises
