Good to hear about the Whale Watching. When we took it our whole boat was from Solstice. Since we were the only ship in port it stands to reason. Most likely if UK booking you will forfeit your deposit. You never know when you might get a sympathetic agent that can find a way to bend the rules. You might be better off transferring to another cruise date far in the future that you might be able to take. Even if you end up cancelling out that one you had the opportunity to extend the loss.

I haven't ever seen a Celebrity Transfer offered to or from SNA to San Pedro. A call to your Travel Agent or Celebrity may be best choice if you want confirmation.

I can agree with others that the State Department is a great sources of information. The State Department will however not be able to tell you whether Celebrity will provide the visa or not. A couple years ago we took a b2b cruise from Singapore to Rome. While Visa were required in many of the countries, the only one we need to obtain ourselves was for India. Celebrity took our Passports at the beginning of the cruise and would do all the paperwork including getting them stamped. My understanding was they obtained Bulk Visa's using the manifest. I don't remember the details but I believe we were changed on our room pass for at least 1. Unfortunately Celebrity was giving mixed answers to those that called for advise.

On our recent visit to Cabo on Solstice as well as other tender ports, the tenders run all night long. I don't recall a particular schedule for late evening or in the weee hours of the morning but would presume would be at least every 1/2 hour or hour or when they have passengers available. You will not be stuck ashore. Much of the crew also go ashore after they finish their shifts.

You may still hear some scraping when they clean the decks but but better than one we once had right underneath the food service area where we heard lots of noise.

Interesting. On Solstice (non-revolutionized) you also could not pull up Banker and transfer from account to the machine. You had to go to the Cashier and buy slips in $100 denominations and then feed into the Slot Machines. Also one thing I didn't like was you had to put your card in the machine and leave it there while playing instead of tapping in and out.

Thanks John. We also prefer the same waitstaff. I hope they do the same on Apex but looks like it may vary by some of the other answers. I seem to remember that on Edge a couple years ago we had the same waiter but had the assistant assigned to a specific area.

On a recent cruise I Pre-Purchased Slot Cash with a bonus. Turned out to be a terrible experience. They give you a special promotional slip (at least on Solstice). You had to play all you took off the slip at one machine and couldn't cash out or put back on slip except for the amount you won. I felt like I had been ripped off and will never do it again.

You will be fine if all your doing is light browsing, email, texting etc.

I believe the only way is to check in the App or ask onboard - Been on some ships that only have one menu while others vary the menu.

IMessaging works great over the WiFi as well as FaceTime and Wifi Calling. Also programs like WhatsAPP work well. For these you will require at least a Basic Package.

You can use it for that purpose but is very limited. Most report that there is no audible signal when you receive a message. I seem to remember hearing a very light ping. You create an account on your phone and choose free internet. With this you can access your celebrity app, and can use all the free functions. You then have to link the other members you want to communicate with. It is pretty easy but don't remember how it is done.

The muster can be done on the TV. After listening to it you click an acknowledgement button and the names of the guests that watched it (based on honor system). I believe each passenger then has to show up at the muster station and have their card swiped and possibly a 1 minute display of the life jacket. You don't need to log in or use the app.
