  1. I have to agree. I find they really look beautiful but lack in taste and texture.
  2. Understand. Was just trying to point out that the price on board will be higher than pre-purchase.
  3. I've done a couple small group excursions and had between 8 - 18. The one with 18 they had broken down onto two Vans.
  4. There really no need to wait to buy the Laundry Bag deal pre-cruise. Your Agent OBC is fully refundable and will be applied to your CC if you don' use it. Only the OBC offered by Celebrity is NR. Most of the time the Laundry Bag deal is offered once on board but not always. To use you have to wait until it is published in the daily and then I believe you write Laundry Bag Deal on the slip. If you send you laundry out without a Laundry Bag deal you will be charged at the applicable piece price. I've never had a problem with other's red laundry bleeding or damaging my laundry. Possibly others have. There is a good chance that your all cotton items may shrink which is common of hot water washing. If you have something that is delicate you may wish to pay the additional and have it dry cleaned. While they may follow Cold Water requests it is not certain.
  5. On the E-Class ships they have a power plug on one side of the bed. The other side if I recall has a usb outlet in the base of the lamp and one on the telephone. At least this was the case in a CS.
  6. You should be ok with the occasional need for a small amount for incidentals (e.g. a coin operated toilet) Last year when in the UK and Europe I used my credit card (utilizing Apple Pay) at Phone booths, parking meters, busses, coffee shops etc. I even bought a hotdog at a street vendor using a credit card.
  7. Technically yes. If you bid Zero you are less than the minimum but if you tweak the slide bar the minimum will be the first number shown and you can't input anything below that number.
  8. While you may not have an insurance would also be advisable to check you Credit Card. Many of the CC's especially the premium ones have coverage if you charged the ticket on you CC.
  9. Good to hear about the Whale Watching. When we took it our whole boat was from Solstice. Since we were the only ship in port it stands to reason. The crew are incredible at finding and following the Whales. Another vote of Mar - She is a gem and have been on 5 cruises with her. I think she would make a great Retreat Manager and have said that in each of my reviews.
  10. Most likely if UK booking you will forfeit your deposit. You never know when you might get a sympathetic agent that can find a way to bend the rules. You might be better off transferring to another cruise date far in the future that you might be able to take. Even if you end up cancelling out that one you had the opportunity to extend the loss.
  11. I haven't ever seen a Celebrity Transfer offered to or from SNA to San Pedro. A call to your Travel Agent or Celebrity may be best choice if you want confirmation.
  12. I can agree with others that the State Department is a great sources of information. The State Department will however not be able to tell you whether Celebrity will provide the visa or not. A couple years ago we took a b2b cruise from Singapore to Rome. While Visa were required in many of the countries, the only one we need to obtain ourselves was for India. Celebrity took our Passports at the beginning of the cruise and would do all the paperwork including getting them stamped. My understanding was they obtained Bulk Visa's using the manifest. I don't remember the details but I believe we were changed on our room pass for at least 1. Unfortunately Celebrity was giving mixed answers to those that called for advise.
  13. They usually have at least two Beyond the Podium Speakers. Some are really good an pack the theater.
  14. I've see it vary by tide heights. The usual is Deck 4 Midship on MClass and Deck 5 on S
  15. You may get a better answer by joining you Roll Call. Since everyone is on your cruise I'm sure the requirements will be discussed and information shared.
  16. On our recent visit to Cabo on Solstice as well as other tender ports, the tenders run all night long. I don't recall a particular schedule for late evening or in the weee hours of the morning but would presume would be at least every 1/2 hour or hour or when they have passengers available. You will not be stuck ashore. Much of the crew also go ashore after they finish their shifts.
  17. Bo- here's a view from a tool on CruiseDeckPans You may hear a bit of noise but the area of you cabin is one of the best location for being under the Aqua Spa Cafe- Right at the entrance. You may still hear some scraping when they clean the decks but but better than one we once had right underneath the food service area where we heard lots of noise.
  18. Interesting. On Solstice (non-revolutionized) you also could not pull up Banker and transfer from account to the machine. You had to go to the Cashier and buy slips in $100 denominations and then feed into the Slot Machines. Also one thing I didn't like was you had to put your card in the machine and leave it there while playing instead of tapping in and out.
  19. Yes - Often the waiter asks if I want two. I decline. 4 oz is perfect for us.
  20. I had it a couple times on Solstice in December in Luminae. Was as good as ever.
  21. I will ask for sure especially once we find one we are happy with.
  22. Thanks John. We also prefer the same waitstaff. I hope they do the same on Apex but looks like it may vary by some of the other answers. I seem to remember that on Edge a couple years ago we had the same waiter but had the assistant assigned to a specific area.
  23. On a recent cruise I Pre-Purchased Slot Cash with a bonus. Turned out to be a terrible experience. They give you a special promotional slip (at least on Solstice). You had to play all you took off the slip at one machine and couldn't cash out or put back on slip except for the amount you won. I felt like I had been ripped off and will never do it again.
