  1. Absolutely!!! There are no deal breakers here!!
  2. You gotta be kidding? I would cruise if I had to bring my own sack lunch!
  3. We passed on the offer since the Alaska Cruise is not on our bucket list. Is a good deal if you are interested in sailing to Alaska.
  4. My usual bagel, smoked salmon, tomato and mushroom sandwich. Of course I try and have the grilled salmon filet at dinner as often as I can!
  5. Welcome to the wonderful World of Carnival Cruising. My decisions were always made based on the cost of the ship, the distance we either had to drive or fly and our personal choices. We enjoyed them all and each Ship had a special and unique presence. Whichever ship you choose just enjoy the Carnival Voyage!!
  6. Cruised out of Jacksonville a few months ago. Searched for a Hotel with a Park n Cruise package. They were non existent in Jacksonville. Ended up parking directly across the street from the Terminal. Van was good in dropping us off and picking us up after the Cruise. I didn't make the reservation so In can't comment on the cost; however, it was cheaper than parking at the Terminal. Your situation may be a bit different with the disability factor.
  7. What Hotel did you stay in? Drive when you can! Leave the skies to birds!
  8. Fortunately we don't cruise for the food options or taste. We cruise because we love cruising, Simple equation! You have to find the food you like and stick with it. Sometime variety is not feasible.
  9. That is the reason I have never taken my mask off! People are going to do as they please but there are always consequences that not only affect the individual but others. Hope you get well soon.
  10. Have yet to pay for a Covid test pre cruise. Just stay in our vehicle get swabbed and the results in 30 minutes or less.
  11. Carnival's grilled Salmon is very good. I actually had it each night of our last cruise. I am not a big fried or sautéed in calories sauce fan so I was in Salmon Heaven. My staple from here forward.
  12. I think that Carnival is utilizing this survey to gauge how many cruisers are actively watching TV, Their objective is probably not to receive too many responses because that proves that more people are spending time in the cabins and not out and about spending cash. They are always looking at alternative ways to get you engaged onboard and out of the path of the Cabin TV's? You watching a free movie in your cabin can't be counted as revenue contribution.
  13. I am proud to be a lifelong Jets Fan. However, I am not proud of this scene. Again let's please educate our children while they are still at home to be respectful of others and others property.
  14. We had a 10:00 AM check in time and literally did not get onboard until noon. Just get there!!!
  15. You beat me to it. Thanks for explaining the process. Hopefully the confusion is cleared up.
  16. A good old fashioned loaded grilled hot dog would make Guy's world a better place.
  17. Our society is really trending wayward these days! There is never an excuse for disorderly conduct; no matter what the venue. What examples are we setting for our children and grandchildren? We are much better as a society and hopefully cooler heads will prevail. My Carnival Cruise experience will never be distorted by those who did not learn manners at home.
  18. This new technology is too smart for it's own survival. Just stick to old school hard copies of everything. We had our vaccine cards in hand, passports and our test results in our phones. After showing all of these bits of information, didn't take any longer for us to board than normal. As a matter of fact a few passengers beside us were having issues with verifying that they submitted any information via VeriFly?
  19. Cousin received a $200 OBC and Ultimate Casino Drink Package. Made good sense to hurry and jump on that deal.
  20. Thank you for your insight!!!
  21. I still do not take advantage of our Carnival Cruise status. I wait until the all Cabin signal is given and then it takes us a few minutes after that to go to the cabin. The bags don't usually arrive until later in the afternoon. We don't overpack so we are lugging around extra luggage that needs to be placed inside the cabins. Learn to slow it down, relax and enjoy the Cruise.
