  1. There's a special seating area, but you still need reservations for a particular show for the main theater, aqua theater, ice show and comedy. The concierge reached out to us the week before sailing with the schedule and we replied with what we wanted. Once onboard, some things changed and the Aqua show was rescheduled due to weather and the concierge worked with us to find new times.
  2. On Odyssey, there are three different layouts when it comes to Jr Suites, so make sure when choosing you know the layout that particular one has. Some have 1 bathroom, some have a split bath with a sink and toilet on one side of the hall and a sink, tub and shower (no toilet) on the other side And a few have a split bath with a sink and toilet on one side, and a sink, toilet and shower/tub combo on the other side.
  3. Just know that Wonder is MUCH larger than you probably realize and the hike from deck 7 aft, up to the forward elevators is a long haul, especially if someone has mobility issues.
  4. it's per stateroom, not per person. Whether there's just one adult in the room or five, it's still a total of two bottles for the room.
  5. @colesc15I'd stick with 1694--I've sailed in that cabin twice, it's great. I have bid and won several Royal Ups, but only bid when it's a quantum or oasis class ship. On other ships, there's not really a ton of added value, unless you REALLY want a much larger room. On Navigator, there's not much in the way of things for a Concierge to help you with compared to those other classes, since you don't need reservations for shows, and there's not a Coastal Kitchen.
  6. If I had to guess--and this is just a guess, it's because now that ships are moving to Starlink there will be just one option for wifi.
  7. I have brought an 'assortment' several times. A mix of sodas and vitamin water, but I do keep it to 12 total.
  8. I was probably still typing.....I'm SLOW. 😄
  9. There have been recent reports that that is no longer allowed and now it's limited to $20 per day for ala carte restaurants. Royal has updated the description:
  10. The pending charges should drop off. I'm going to watch mine and if they do show up as a posted charge, then I'll call. I've had this happen before, not just Royal, and the pending charges eventually fall off, depending on your credit card company. It's like when you check into a hotel or get onboard the ship. They put a 'hold' on some funds in anticipation of eventually putting the charge all the way through. So just check your card daily. Some take just a few days to drop off, others can take at least a week.
  11. There's a VAT tax imposed by the Bahamian government. You'll see VAT on all things you purchase for Coco Cay.
  12. You may very well end up in that situation. 😞 Try calling--although apparently that could be a wait of hours and hours and you still wouldn't get what you are trying to purchase.
  13. oops, and I had even started the post saying it is a check in time, not a boarding time. 😂
  14. I was finally able to get back in and was looking at things---and it crashed again and is back to the error message and to please check back later. I was VERY lucky and logged in last night just after midnight, eastern time, because I'm on the west coast so it was only 9 pm. I got most of what I wanted for a few sailings, but wanted to sleep on a few things and now haven't been able to get back in. At least I got a shot at it last night when it was working well.
  15. Keep in mind that is 'check in' time, not boarding time. But you may get on that early depending on if they have cleared the ship from the prior sailing. You should still check in to your cruise when it opens (45 days out) and choose a boarding time--but filling out all the info is what will get you your set sail pass. You'll get an email about a week before the sailing, letting you know what time to arrive and where to go for The Key, along with other details for Key holders.
  16. There is a charge for the chat feature. It's $1.99 per person, per day and everyone needs to buy it for them to send/receive messages. One thing to be aware of, is that it's fairly archaic in the fact that it doesn't actually notify you that you have a message. So unless you are constantly checking the chat app, you won't know someone has messaged you.
  17. The app isn't really the best for Cruise Planner things anyway. It's more useful and designed for onboard usage. It's a replacement for the Cruise Compass, for the most part. At least that's how it is for now, but more functionality does keep slowly being added.
  18. Agree. I've been checking prices in the planner for various sailing over the last few days, to get a 'baseline' for when the BF planner sales actually appear.
  19. I see a small price drop on mine, but I'm not going to bother my TA for what amounts to less than $40. I figure their time is worth more than that.
  20. I think that is for Black Friday deals on cruises themselves, not the cruise planner items. At least from what I can tell when I log in and look.
  21. Hmm, I didn't get that email. I got a bunch of others about Kids Sail Free and more about Europe being open for booking. But not this one.
  22. One person, two devices. That's the better deal and works just fine. The difference is that it's just one login to set up--you'll both use the same login name/password, versus creating two separate logins.
