  1. Yeah they should have....but all kinds of businesses wait until the last minute to pay suppliers to preserve cash on hand and make their books look better. I thought only restricted air was paid when the customer paid. Flexible air could be changed by customer because it hadn't been ticketed or paid yet. Am I wrong? Glad its straightened out!!
  2. I've been bringing on 2 bottles at embarkation, 1 more mid cruise, & not charged since restart What about comping the 'good' wine tasting for those over ××× days?? Not Grapevine tasting but good stuff (currently $25pp so not really pricey for PCL). Maybe over 500 days? Add flowers for every cruise over 750 days?
  3. Great idea!! Would like a naturalist on my GBR cruise!! And someone could've pointed out Northern Lights on my last cruise. Enrichment speakers onboard now. Portuguese lessons by a member of the entertainment staff on my last cruise too. Room was packed 😁
  4. On my last cruise there were 1200+ elites. Divide that by the 14 open mornings and you have 85 elites per day plus suites. Not 600 but how many does Sabatinis hold? Can it accommodate another 85 per day? Ya wanna read all the angry posts by Elites (of which I'm one) that either cannot get in on their morning of choice or at all? Or should everyone be told they need to eat in less than an hour? No lingering over a cup of coffee? Or does Princess just omit well attended arts & crafts?? Suggest we keep brainstorming ....
  5. I'm happy for you. I am not the OP. I was responding to this post of yours indicating that you have cruised post pandemic and are still waiting for your Bottomline Technologies check:
  6. Definitely not full. Only 2400+ passengers. Also made a 4 person out of the next 2 tables for a group of 4. His entire section was repeat diners. Nice to just say hi to the host as I walk straight back
  7. Perhaps we should all e mail Princess and ask as I agree from many and I mean many of those I spoke with on both cruises they would love to have the choice of Trad dining I've had it on all cruises since restarted if you just mean same table (last one was #87 on Enchanted / forget # on Discovery (42-43??), Royal, Majestic, Ruby) / same staff / arriving anytime between 6:30-7:30 / vegetarian menu waiting for me / friends next table over even had challah waiting on 'their' table. I'd ask for it but I'm a solo diner. It's too big. Arranged by HW in 5th deck MDR ATD diner now preferring this.
  8. Less crowded. Faster service. I requested to be at same table around 6:30 nightly & had table #87
  9. Oh snap you're right!! Prefer MDR deck 5 midship
  10. According to the thread many of us are getting it within the 4-6 week posted timeline. How long have you personally been waiting for your post cruise unused refundable OBC to be refunded?
  11. @Beachandcitysorry you had 2 bad issues (1) false positive covid test (2) poor bus service. Never experienced a false positive test result. I'm sure that was frustrating but other than reconfirm with a PCR test, what should they have done?? As to poor bus service, how long ago did you complete the website form requesting reimbursement? Took a month to be reimbursed in December. It took a week (disembarked 9/17/22 and just deposited check) to be reimbursed $216.95 for poor tour experience after I complained on the post cruise survey this time. So it's speeding up.
  12. Oh yeah. I book with the MDR not the app. Not willing to jump through those hoops
  13. Capri, Deck 5 midship, is less congested and they like same table / same waiter / say 'hi' to Miguelito and Julia!!
  14. Disembarked 9/17/22 and USPS delivering refund today. Onboard notice stated amounts under $25 not $250
  15. Soup was so good I had it 3 times in 15 days. Twice as my main dish. Whipped vlegetable cream was vegan. I won't be back onboard until December but would live to know what it is. Looking forward to someone finding out
  16. Oops!! Sorry Belle 😳 claim those 2 lbs!! And enjoy the next cruise. Where are you going?? I skipped lunch when I had tea. Otherwise I'd have more than 1.5" to lose Jan, hope your treatments go easy on you. Staying in a castle? So exciting! Jo, I was on the Enchanted Princess. Loved how easy it was to get around old Town in Southampton. Here's tea in a medieval garden: I was good & only had 1 scone. Picture doesn't do the garden justice. Strange thing about St Peter Port is that no matter what you have to walk to the castle. Then the person who does the tour does it for ppl who pay him & ppl who pay the ship. I just paid them. Susan, cruising?? Did I miss a post by Izena & Ginger?
  17. As the 15 days went on I noticed that the standard menu was vegan and 1 of the daily options was as well. Some GF. Now that I'm home I can hardly wait to make that vegan onion soup (ex with challah & cheese so I guess it'll just be vegetarian)
  18. Tried to go back and delete my reply as this thread is a review thread of current cruising on Enchanted Princess not whether we like the current offerings. New from last summer: > Take 5 Jazz. Some techno. There's a table by the door to the casino where you can create a Playlist when no one is performing > Crooners is still a piano bar > 2 rotating violinists. Sometimes house band plays in piazza > 3 new shows in theater (Rock Opera, Spotlight Bar, 5 Skies) > Vista Lounge no longer shows all sporting events. Channels 9, 10, & 11 are sports channels > Separate vegan menu (must ask for it) > Salty Dog Gastropub rarely busy > Gigis is just Alfredos renamed. Same menu > Can order from specialty restaurants on the TV for an individual (per item) charge > Long LONG line for pub lunch in Crown Grill but everyone got in (I sat in Crown Grill bar) > They put out folding chairs for all over flow events. So strange New / modified CD events: > dance lessons now in piazza > Tiago teaches Portuguese in Take 5. If interested get there early as it is very popular > challenge to read song lyrics as poetry (i failed) > Cruise long trivia
  19. HAL has had a slightly younger crown than Princess for many years now Princess had better get on the ball then. Hopefully 50s+ on average (accounting for minors & grandparents). But it does look like this is what it is going towards according to current commercials, medallion, following your created avatar around the ship, new music venues (Take 5 = jazz), and updated shows Wish they'd bring back the televised sports in Vista Lounge ..... loved when they did that in 2021
  20. My kids & grandkids love opera & symphony. PLEASE no big band era music. Ballroom dancing is my parents generation (ex salsa-type which the 25 yo taught me). Unless Princess is going to grow, they become stagnant. No one likes that. Even HAL is trying to attract a younger group (although that group is still 60+)
  21. They are lowering their target age and becoming intergenerational to stay profitable.
  22. Hi. I'm back. Tried really really hard to stay on track while cruising but obviously failed. Jo, enjoy Bruges. Good luck avoiding all those chocolate deals. Jan, virtual hugs Izena, missed hearing about your surgery!! Good that you can walk Jazzper Hi also Susan & Ginger. Fell in love with a new city -- Southampton. Wild horses. So easy to get around. Left before HRM passed away but was able to watch it onboard. So sad. Hope that family rift can heal Feel in love all over again with tea time. Just tea, veggie sandwiches, scones / cream / marmalade. The ship brings enough for 4 even though I'm a solo. Hence my skirt problem. I have no willpower. This is June after I declined accepting 3/4 but July, August, & September had just as much food. And it's just an afternoon 'snack'
  23. There are numerous items from the specialty restaurants that can be ordered from room service even for us lowly balcony passengers. For a fee
  24. Should be on channel 9, 10, or 11 (unless NFL is on 11) on your stateroom TV
  25. I was on a cruise and couldn't understand why I all of a sudden had new expiration dates on refundable FCC. Previous CVP had already repositioned FCC to use Goodwill 1st. Thanks & remainder is all used up in April 2023. Lasted thru 7 cruises. So many canceled 🙄 but life has returned to normal
