  1. Well I had a table in deluxe & premium balconies as well as mini-suite. I don't remember a room table in the standard balcony. But there was one on the balcony itself
  2. So ~~~~~ here's my take. Your booking is reserved & paid for so you have a table, right?? Why don't you just add him to your table onboard?? Many don't even book until onboard to use OBC hoping for a table. You're ahead of the game as you are on a 2top already!! Adding: if you've paid for 2 on each booking, print that out & take with you. Specialty Dining or PSD can make sure you don't dbl pay for him.
  3. I've had a table on all 5 balcony (+ 1 mini-suite) rooms since August 2021 (Discovery, Emerald, Royal, Ruby, Majestic). Expect one in 2 weeks on Enchanted Princess
  4. Yeah I don't use DMW as it never worked for me. I show up the 1st day, pre-order dinner & then I'm asked what time I plan on eating. Finally if I prefer to eat solo or share. (2 top) Always get the same Head Waiter & table (or next one over). He needs to know where to bring the next day menus. Here's hoping it continues that way Everyone that I've spoken to onboard who did not request an arrival time was assigned one by deck and notified in that final email we get a week or two before boarding. It is not Princess-speak. It seems to be a default. Also if you use Princess shuttle, it's whatever time the shuttle gets there (never use shuttle in SeaTac. It sucks)
  5. Exactly. And I've got 2 EU stops: Ringaskiddy, IR (for Cobh) & Azores. Last Southampton cruise only had Ireland
  6. FWIW there will be unvaccinated onboard. Chat misunderstood and requested our waiver for this voyage. I was inquiring about next summer
  7. That's an EU requirement not a Princess requirement. I think that's where some get hung up, expecting all countries to have adopted 1 universal rule and they haven't.
  8. What does it mean? Read it yourself: self administered / just attest
  9. In my case, I received an email today (14 days before boarding) that spelled it out in clear concise wording. Printed off the email and stick it in my carryon
  10. In less than 2 weeks I'll be having lunch in Capri, ordering my dinner, and placing a request for vegetarian tea in my cabin on Saturday
  11. You're right .... so what is #24?? Corrected: 1. Costa Atlantica -> CSSC 2. Costa Mediterranea -> CSSC 3. Costa neoRomantica -> Celestyal Cruises Experience 4. 12. I board shortly after you (Sept 2nd) so my guess is I should get one maybe by Monday
  13. Yes, clear as mud and don't bother asking Princess: Website -> not needed, attest only Chat -> added ArriveCAN. I don't go anywhere near Canada CVP -> medically assisted test needed as it's a TA HOWEVER, on the other thread ppl post that they've received emailed confirmation that it attest only as well as not being asked at port. Seems to be received about a week before boarding. Awaiting an email as I fly out Aug 30 to board Sept 2. I can test Aug 30th & still be within 3 calendar days. So yeah, confused. Awaiting emailed confirmation
  14. Yes, sounds a lot like when I request an upsell and state the price I'm willing to pay. OTOH I book the room i want on the royal class ships then have it marked 'no upgrade.' Thinking there's less chance of being moved despite that notation
  15. 1. Costa Atlantica -> CSSC 2. Costa Mediterranea -> CSSC 3. Costa neoRomantica -> Celestyal Cruises Experience 4. HAL Amsterdam -> Fred Olsen Bolette 5. HAL Rotterdam -> Fred Olsen Borealis 6. 16. Currently National Express Coach suggests arriving 3.5 hrs before your flight, so not enough time to tour. (2 hr drive + 3.5 hrs before flight ..... )
  17. Well in that you're booking the Plus fare reducing the gratuities has absolutely no effect on your fare. So why bother to stand in line when there's no benefit? It's not like you're going to get that (£353-150) £203. Looking at it another way; 40 Princess Plus -10 wifi -5 latte* -24* (for just 2 glasses cheapest wine) 1 gratuity *But you can have up to 15 drinks
  18. @ocean soundsif cabins are side by side or in close proximity & linked then they'd need to upgrade all so that they stay in close proximity (or so my top notched retired CVP told me when I linked 4 bc of minors kids & adult kids)
  19. Request: if boarding in SOUTHAMPTON between now & August 30th, can you please let me know if the port authorities (or check in personnel if done by Princess) requested a copy of your covid test results?? Princess is all over the board: Website -> not needed, attest only Chat -> added ArriveCAN. I don't go anywhere near Alaska CVP -> medically assisted test needed
  20. Do not use chat to clarify as they can only repeat what it says online & the fallback is to state to test 2 days beforehand
  21. same as Australia... But Australian cruisers self-test just like UK between now and September 6th
  22. FAQs updated today (August 15th) for all cruises. It's a lot clearer. Please explain to me who does the proofreading down there?!?!@
