  1. I always request 10-11am 1st sea day and have only been shifted 1× to 11-12am. That was when I joined a cruise 6 weeks before it goes (now 2 weeks) and set it up super late. Also I send hand written party invitations (bought at Dollar Tree) instead of an invite letter as I don't own a printer. Just to 3 + Group Onboard Liaison as we're only 32+. (Captain, CD, DoHM ....) Easy peasy
  2. Did you contest it and get it removed?? I was overcharged $20 in December 2021 (booked 1 disembark tour but everyone only got the cheaper one) and got it back as 20 OBC for next cruise.
  3. I just get a printout before bed (apx MN) as I'm not charging the following morning.
  4. Hope you get one!! So good to know its happening again. But mine would've been spent by now so needing yet more again
  5. Izena, I haven't kayaked in ages (well at least a decade). Have fun! Pizza again last night as it was the 3rd & final day at 100°. Yes I could have just had fruit & yogurt again. But nah! Kids wouldn't go for that
  6. I tried to do this last month when my onboard purchase didn't go through but couldn't. Even though I could in 2019. Now only available onboard so getting more in 2 weeks. This time I'm getting a receipt
  7. Still trying to stay on track despite not actually cooking. Hate to turn on the oven or stove when its 100°. Fortunately its cooler tomorrow Izena & Jan have a great lunch together Wish I could cruise like Belle & Susan but things at home keep me off the ships. (Koda + 16yo now living here) Belle you referenced California gas so maybe you're out here? Would love a meet up someday. My future cruises are in my signature, anyone on them?
  8. And Saudis want into the industry on a high end luxury platform. Thats CC's highest end line
  9. I can't find this exact picture at Hone Goods .... I meant one of this quality. Doesn't show up well in these pics and you should all recognize the one on the left marked #52/70.

    FCC

I thought Princess redated FCC for cruises canceled under Cruise with Confidence. Made them 12 months from date of cancelation
  11. Riding it out. Bought at 8.69*. Will have received 900 in thus new round of shareholder obc. Hoping that Saudis still buy Seabourn as that will / should satisfy that loan. *previously bought at 56, obc brought down to 43, after sale & shorts, loss of $100~. So after September I'm sort of zeroed out

    FCC

The ones that aren't used up this year expire 5/23. They were not issued 5/22 under Cancel with Confidence. They were issued in 3/2020 but re-dated by CVP to use on a 3/23 cruise downunder.
  13. Does anyone know when 2023 Fall California Coastals will be out??
  14. I have flown for all but 1 of my cruises and always use EZAIR. Until 2019 I always got seats on the airlines apps. Only AirCanada, Southwest, & British Air did not let me select a seat without an additional charge, so I try really hard to avoid them. I almost always book flexible air, just 1× booked restricted but that Southwest flight was leaving in 46 days anyway. Never a problem getting flights changed (1× BA scheduling issue, Dec 2021 prior CVP switched my return after I got to port city) And always got seats But then I've only flown 6× post covid.
  15. Supposedly. Delta NS operated by Virgin Atlantic. Unable to get seats on Princess website (desktop ... can ever get on mobile site).
  16. I went to the Virgin Atlantic site & booked my seat for free. And yes, I'm not ticketed as flight is 86 days out. Want to refare myself if price drops
  17. Her video (click bait) brings up several questions: 1. Did he select modify 2. Was he within 45 days 3. Why wasn't he advised to go onto AA's website to secure seats 4. Ticketing does not mean the flight will not change as flights are being continually modified (ie: canceled, rerouted, reassigned) 5. Does she know that the charge comes from the airlines and EZAIR just passes it along? 6. Was it just a mis-speak when she said in 1 place the increase was 840 and in another 140? 7. Did he choose aisle seats which carry a surcharge on the airline site? Yet another case where an ordinary traveler (me) can punch holes in her video. No I'm not subscribing
  18. I'm confused. Why didn't you just show up when you wanted to eat? (asks someone who still does ATD without entering anything in DMW but also gets same table 90% of time)
  19. @Lovincruisin1321 I am also struggling with a weird problem. I can walk but cannot stand for more than a few minutes w/o intense shooting leg pain. PT helps. I like your idea of walking in water. In 2007 I was 20% (yes % not pounds) heavier. I still have a way to go but have dropped all but 1/2 statin dose. So kudos for you taking control of your health. Join us on the weekly thread like @Izena posted. IMHO it's all about getting healthy so I can cruise better (less weight = less meds = less stress on knees)
  20. Thanks for starting us off Belle Welcome back Susan!! Izena i missed it. Did your son move back semi-permanently or just short term? I'm back to 32" but after a weekend of pizzas after a tub of ice cream, I'll take it!! Made gingersaps as my weekly treat .... 1 of those satisfies
  21. Welcome to Cruise Critic @CreamCruiser! Noticed it was your 1st post
  22. I went to the auction because I liked a really pretty embossed picture. They hyped it as a lithograph. Paid $140 as it was a TKO(?) - take off, only 1 nick on frame, fits my house. I'd pay that for a print at Home Goods so I got my money worth. That was as high as I was willing to go because I was going to have to carry it on the plane home. Another time I bought a print for $50. But they really overcharged on shipping. I still like it too. Bottom line:: they are selling home decor
  23. Perfect!! I just have a phone, no computer anymore. I have zoom already so if I can get my phone propped up then agree, backup not needed
  24. Were you able to do it on your phone? I know the site says you can, I just wondering if I can do it in my house (or my son's)?
  25. I'm trying OnPoint ($15) a medically observed online testing service & I can use the free tests mailed out via USPS. https://onpoint-testing.com/product/certified-teleservice-covid-testing My backup is either the county's test to treat site or StatMed. Both free to everyone with insurance For those with an Albertsons / Luckys / Safeway / or Vons they now do the rapid NAAT (PCR) test for $99 and your insurance is supposed to reimburse you.
