  1. The several brochures I get a week now have "All Inclusive Voyages" or some such plastered across the front. As far as I can tell nothing has changed ----- which would make that statement untrue. Am I missing something?
  2. "Mixed nuts and wasabi peas" Sounds like a new wave band.
  3. I'm beginning to think Australia is just too far away given other other options. Even though I can afford it I'm not sure flights costing as much as cruise is the wisest choice.
  4. OK ----- maybe not everyone.
  5. We have quite a bit of voucher credit to use up and the Australia/New Zealand cruise is one we are thinking about. We wonder about the flight however and would appreciate those who have made it chiming in. It looks like 12+ hours out of LAX and that much time in sardine class would be out of the question for us. Thanks.
  6. Forgot about that. Also ----- in Vancouver you clear US customs at the airport. You are effectively in the US while still in Canada.
  7. On our June/July Homelands we saw jeans and even shorts in Chef's and Manfredi's on several occasions.
  8. Longwing Bluchers and Wingtips are traditionally casual shoes at best. Shoes of this type were originally intended for walking the bogs and moors. The purpose of the brogueing was to allow the dampness/water to slosh in and out of the shoe. They go perfectly well with jeans.
  9. What's sad about not dressing up?
  10. You don't do customs until you get to US. When we were stranded in Bergen/Oslo we went SAS codeshare Oslo to AMS and then AMS to ORD on United. The planets two worst airports in one day!.
  11. I know ----- let's have a hair splitting contest!
  12. This is probably where some sort of "30 minute" rule would pertain. Clearly one should be able to leave a chair for a moment or two. It's the "save a chair for later" types that earn the rancor.
  13. Come right back? Give us a break. To answer your question ----- yes.
  14. Just fine. Anyone who leaves a chair unattended for that length of time knows what they are.
  15. If a chair I wanted to sit in went unattended for 30 minutes I would have no problem unreserving it. Rudeness to rude people is not rude.
  16. "Haggis" served at Burns Festival in NYC is not authentic/traditional due to the FDA deeming it "unfit for human consumption."
  17. Pretty hard to find someone working Alaska tourism who is actually from Alaska.
  18. Now, if you were on a ore boat -------------------
