  1. Can you make a bid on each cabin type at the same time. For example Balcony. Mini- Suite and Suite? And if so, do they notify you all at once on your bids whether they were accepted or not?
  2. Wow? Such interest in whether the crew is wearing masks or not? They will be back sometime on cruises 10 days of longer because our experience has been that on about the 7th day on a cruise you start hearing about new Covid cases and then it becomes more obvious as more quarantine rooms are added as the cruise days continue the spread increases. Covid projections have usually been very accurate and the projection for this fall and early spring for the flu and Covid are not good. But no masks only means a higher chance of contacting Covid and then spending your hard earned money you paid for your vacation in quarantine on 10 plus day cruises. Have fun and cheers!
  3. I would think most would keep them on. The flu season is upon us and Covid is far from over so why would they discard them knowing how much Covid is always present on Princess ships and they risk getting sick and possibly sent home or weaken their team.
  4. Does this take into account all the viewers that may have watched it on other forms for media beside televisions. Like the saying goes, "There's no such thing as bad publicity." However, I am sure Princess prefers this type of tv show versus the Netflix show "Hell of a Cruise." I cannot believe the anger over a fun TV show. Wow! 😂
  5. The Crew Appreciation concept seems to be based on the US principle and concept that you will get a participation trophy just for showing up whether you play in the game or not. 🏆😀
  6. Sounds like there is no problem then. 75% of passengers are on board with Auto Tip and Princess allows others to make a choice to participate or not. Win/Win!
  7. All speculation and opinion and not based in reality. Cruisers are the ones who are greedy???? That is rich!! Passengers still do have the right to remove Crew Appreciation from their folios, give lower amounts or tip privately and personally and maybe even give more so what are you saying?
  8. With all due respect I doubt anyone knows the corporate intentions of CCL's for Crew Appreciation scheme and also that they do not know the the tax situation or country tax tables for each crew member on the ship. If Princess is so benevolent then why did they change the system from where we were able to tip to who and how much we wanted on each cruise. It really is a salary supplement and nothing more and there is nothing wrong with that but they should just lump it in the fare and be transparent. We know that Princess saves a tremendous amount in corporate taxes by structuring this income in this manner and passing the tax burden on to its' crews.
  9. People in hell want ice water too but that does not mean they are going to get it. Our expectation is that tipping will be based on service, attitude and gratitude. We do generously tip but it is not automatic and we decide how much when and where. We still control our money and we decide what we will do with it not the corporations which some on CC make it sound like they are greedy because they do not want to pay taxes with their Crew Appreciation scheme as some have defined it??
  10. In all the cruises we have done this year and in the past we have not witnessed that in Club Class. Of course it seems like it has been a couple of years that we have been on a full Princess cruise and also we tend to do 15, 20 and 25 plus day cruises.
  11. The one perk I would like to see Princess add is a dedicated Customer Service Line for Elites with more veteran CSR's working those lines. The airlines, hotels and rental car companies do it and it certain would save a lot of frustration and wasted time for their most loyal customers.
  12. The horns great and extremely clever. Awesome way to promote their brand and bring many smiles to peoples' faces at the same time.
