  1. Good morning. It’s 72 degrees overcast and rain most likely on its way. Much better then those poor folks in Mississippi where I just saw the death toll is up to twenty-three after storm caused a hundred mile swath of destruction. It was a good morning of sleeping in after staying up late watching a movie. Don’t have anything planned for the day but probably need a trip to the grocery store. Thanks for the report and prayers for all the tornado victims and their families. Bruce
  2. Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. Enjoy the Penthouse one more evening and safe travels home.
  3. I’m having the same issue. Have notification turned off and still getting E-mails.
  4. Sandi could this be true? Redneck Bob a little weak today on humor so one more. Bubba and Billy Joe were on vacation, walking downtown, window shopping, and they see a sign on a store which reads, "Suits $5.99 each, shirts $1.99 each, trousers $2.49 each. Bubba says to his pal, "Billy Joe, Lookee here! We could buy a whole gob o’ these, take ‘em back to Georgia, sell 'em and make a fortune. Just let me do the talkin', 'cause if they hear your accent, they might think we're ignorant, and not wanna sell that stuff to us.” Now, I'll talk in a slow Texas drawl so's they don't know we is from Georgia." They go in and Bubba says with his best fake Texas drawl, “I'll take 50 of them suits at $5.99, 100 of them there shirts at $1.99, 50 pairs of them there trousers at $2.39. I'll back up my pickup and...." "The owner of the shop interrupts, "Y'all from Georgia, ain't ya?" "Well...yeah," says a surprised Bubba. "How come y'all knowed that?" "Because this is a Dry-Cleaners."
  5. They do not have wait list. Only alternative is to check after boarding. The egg roll was so overcooked it was hard as a rock. The spicy beef stir fry had no spice but worse only two slivers of beef. The fried rice was white rice with a few peas, and no egg, onion or any seasoning. I have used the restaurant in the past but never again.
  6. It amazes me how organized you are to have all these meals documented. Thanks.
  7. Good morning! If you didn’t get to read my late post on Thursday’s Daily my dinner of choice last night was Chinese takeout. It was so bad I took a few bites and tossed it out. Definitely need to prepare my own meal tonight. Up early as DW likes to text me at 5:30 in the morning!😱 They have become Cabana girls so I guess that means another $600 per cruise. I was directed to reserve one for our upcoming Eurodam cruise but they are sold out. Maybe I need to get out and walk the neighborhood and just maybe find someone to have an adult conversation with. Tired of talking to tv and Alexa. Thanks for the company and post. Bruce
  8. Goodnight everyone! I chose Chinese takeout tonight because of our early church group study tonight. The food was so bad I ate 1/4 plate and threw the rest of the $ 20.00 meal + tip in trash. I’m hungry. Popcorn or a fasting day for Lent. Lent wins. Now that I’m here; one more time for our late Daily or our earliest European posters…….many of you can relate to these days.
  9. Thanks for the reply. Will be on Journey for the Intensive Spain and France cruises this June. On our January Onward cruise we had lunch in Discovery MDR a couple of times. Very few folks dined there on our Caribbean cruise but maybe they didn’t want to give up their sun loungers by the pool. We really enjoyed the lunch menu, attentive service and quiet ambiance. Great review.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  10. Was the Patio open most evenings for dinner?
  11. @seagarsmoker Happy Birthday!🎂 @St Pete Cruiser Enjoy beautiful Auckland and surrounding New Zealand. Bon Voyage!
  12. Looking forward to your review. Thanks for sharing your cruise experience.
  13. @StLouisCruisers Sandi at least it’s proof I read the Daily post.😊 One more….
  14. Good morning.Sandi you had me thinking for a second when you said “have a good Tuesday.” I can only imagine how much thought and time you devote to keeping the Daily running? We have the densest fog of the year this morning. How dense? Can barely see the houses across the street. Trash bins are still erect so no bear this morning. I’m driving my neighbor to the airport at 10:15 so I hope it clears off for her noon flight. I went out to a Mexican restaurant last night with neighbors and enjoyed a plate of sizzling fajitas. Tonight I have small church group so something quick an easy for dinner. Hopefully Carol’s cataract surgery goes well today and again good news for Debbie and Jacqui. Have a great day and thanks to all our contributors. Bruce
  15. Good news for Debbie and Jacqui.🙏👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  16. Have to admit I was thinking of you when I chose to post it.
  17. @marshhawk Annie you definitely did not have a good day yesterday. Prayers for successful medical treatment. Bruce
  18. Good morning! Looks a little gray outside but temps will get back in seventies. I couldn’t log on to CC before going to bed last night but seems fine now. I believe I’m taking the night off from cooking and will have some Chinese takeout. We have been to today’s port of call. Don the cruise blogger stated yesterday that many of Spain’s beaches may be closed at times this summer. Supposedly for some environmental studies. Will need to further investigate that. Debbie, Jacqui and Carol wishes for successful procedures and evaluations. Thanks Sandi and all who contribute to the Daily. Bruce
  19. Good morning! Nice clear sunny day out there but a cool 46 degrees. Per DW’s request I called Hal Ship Services yesterday only to find out the cabanas are sold out. Twenty five minutes on hold to find that out! Made some Panko crusted pork chops last night with sweet potato and sweet peas. I’m enjoying my culinary time in the kitchen. Though I’m pretty sure today’s dish of the day will not be on tonight’s menu. Need to start getting ready for a scheduled dental cleaning this morning. Seems like I just had a cleaning. Time flys. Thanks for the report, recipes and humor. Bruce
  20. @kochleffel Paul sorry to hear about your Sasha. Always a hard thing to bear. Bruce
  21. A quick good morning. Soon headed to car dealership for car to be serviced. Wine is interesting today. Visited there last October. Summer home of the pope back in 1400 when the Pope resided in Avignon, France. Tasted some great wines. The car will take up a good part of the morning then there will be laundry to do in afternoon. Dealership is about 30 minute drive in rush hour so must be on my way. Thanks for the Fleet Report and Daily. Bruce
  22. There are plenty of great excursions that are not at high altitudes. At least on the line we cruised with in Norway last August. However, those higher altitude private excursions really were fantastic and exploded with Norway’s beauty.
