  1. Good morning! Itโ€™s 32 F this morning but next weeks forecast shows temperatures nearing eighty degrees! It will be a typical Saturday with a food run to the commissary and no plans other than that. Of course Iโ€™ll be watching more Daytona racing today and tomorrow. Other than that Iโ€™m drawing a blank. Maybe I need to drink my coffee faster! Thanks to all who have more to contribute then me!
  2. Itโ€™s 62 out and will get cooler as the day progresses. So far no severe weather and no rain. Radar shows slight possibility in next hour. Watched the Daytona races last night then proceeded to sleep in recliner to 2:00 AM. Itโ€™s good to be back and enjoying my recliner. Wish I could take it with me on World Cruise! Have an appointment at CVS to get a pneumonia shot this morning and pick up our free Covid test kits. As mentioned yesterday Medicare will stop paying for test kits in early April. I had ordered some online and received them but their expiration dates were only good for a month! Thank you Ann for starting the Daily and all who contribute. Jacqui you had some great MeMeโ€™s this morning. Thanks. Letโ€™s finish the week out with a good deed!
  3. Went to our CVS today. Medicare covers cost but it will end early April according to my pharmacist. So get Covid test now if you want some.
  4. Agree! Always know my lab findings and other medical test results early using My Chart App. Have lab test at local hospital in morning and almost always have results in afternoon.
  5. Good morning! We have a sign of spring in the air as the azaleas are starting to bloom. Back in 1995 when we bought our house brand new I planted 50 azaleas around the house so we do get pretty colorful this time of year. I did manage to get a lot of chores done yesterday and have a few more planned for today. We are in a severe storm alert for this evening so we will be keeping attuned to weather reports. Definitely will be watching the qualifying races tonight from Daytona. Auto racing, especially NASCAR, is my favorite sport and Speed Week leading up to the Daytona 500 is always exciting. At least to me and maybe Redneck Bob! That is if he truly is a redneck?๐Ÿ˜ Debbie and Ann thanks for your food and wine columns. Thanks Ann for the jumpstart and to all who contribute to the Daily. We have been to Barcelona several times and are looking forward to starting our Intensive Spain and France cruises there in June. Have a great day everyone. Bruce
  6. Good morning! We got home on schedule but that 5 hour layover in Atlanta did us in. Just woke up and had a great nightโ€™s sleep in our bed and with โ€œourโ€ pillows! Have the usual post trip chores that will keep me occupied for the day. It was a great vacation and Iโ€™m home until April and our Eurodam cruise. Got notification I Phone and I Pad have an update so will get that started. Have a great day!
  7. Couldnโ€™t wait another day? In Atlanta awaiting flight home!
  8. Brrrr! Cancun Airport is like being in a meat locker! Hope we donโ€™t freeze before our on time flight!๐Ÿฅถ
  9. Itโ€™s final packing and will headed to airport soon. Happy Valentines Day to all. We celebrate every day!โค๏ธ Have a great day adios Mexico! One more sunrise!
  10. @StLouisCruisers Sandi As we are dining outdoors I believe you are coming into view. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. Bruce & Sue waving!๐Ÿ˜ 7:10 PM Another ship coming into view. So will wave again just in case! ๐Ÿ˜
  11. @kazuJacqui thanks for the Cherbourg info. Last time there we did the OverLord Tour of the beaches and surrounding area. It was very emotional. I would have to check with Sue but I think we are visiting Ypres this time or something like that. Curious how did you know we were going there this summer on our intensive France cruise on Azamara Journey? Prior to that cruise we are doing Intensive Spain starting in Barcelona. As much as you loved the Prisendam I sense you would enjoy an Azamara cruise. Thanks, Bruce
  12. I was standing in line to board on a recent cruise and started talking to man next to me. He introduced himself and he said you wonโ€™t believe this but my last name is Butt and yup mom & dad named me Harry Butt!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  13. Good Morning! It was interesting watching the Super Bowl in Spanish but missed the commercials. Itโ€™s going to be a beautiful last day in Cancun and we will do our usual poolside relaxation. Saw a cruise ships light this morning so I waved to Sandi! Off to my lounger to laze and enjoy the day. Thanks to all who are filling in and prayers for those in need.
  14. Never say never but in our case we are just taking a break from what after way too many Hal cruises became rather repetitional and mundane. How many times watching same dance shows or Planet Earth? Or same dining menus. Not a problem for all but getโ€™s old for some of us frequent cruisers. Still have some Hal cruises booked but an other line as well. A little change and diversion is good.
  15. Watching the Super Bowl in the Spanish language is a challenge but at least refereeโ€™s call are in English!๐Ÿ˜Š Miss the commercials.
