  1. How many ships still have a Concierge Lounge?
  2. I was also on the Apex TA and quarantined on the British Isles cruise. I do know that b2b testing was done at the end of the British Isles cruise.....and, IMHO, should have been done at the end of the TA cruise. Whether they tested between the British Isles and Fjords cruises or the next ones I don't know. I'm sure there were a lot who got a surprise when they tested to fly home. At least that's not needed now.
  3. Was this recently? It's a different situation today as has been reported by other cruisers. Airline flight changes are happening all the time and Celebrity will "help you get to the ship" but there are no guarantees. I know as it happened to a cruising friend and they missed their Transatlantic cruise and had little to no help from Flights by Celebrity/Air2Sea.
  4. I was in quarantine on APEX from May 12 - 22 and food options were Room Service and the MDR.
  5. Two more glasses for each of us came with dinner....
  6. Cheese Plate from Room Service.....while in quarantine....on APEX. It was very nice and the included wine made for a nice Happy Hour.
  7. If you feel that way why do you even both looking at or commenting on this thread?
  8. Protocols for how a cruise line is handling Covid Positive cases is an ever evolving situation as are the different foreign country protocols. Cruisers need keep up with what is happening "NOW" and not rely on information from last month or even last week. I know as I tested positive on APEX, quarantined on the ship before flying home and have done a lot of reading about this.
  9. If you test positive and then quarantine you can get a Certificate of Recovery that you use, along with the initial Positive Covid test result, for your return flight to the US. That's what I did last month after I tested positive and quarantined on APEX with return flight from Amsterdam.
  10. Guests who needed to quarantine were told the information that @ILOVESHIPS shared and were to submit claims to RCI for compensation. I'd think you'd know that since you've read/commented on various quarantine posts.
  11. What type of cabin? We were in a Sky Suite and there were no plugs on the wall on one side of the bed. What we did have was a box on the top of the desk and there was 1 USB on the side of the phone.
  12. Thanks....I saw that but thought you may be referring to something else. We got off EDGE in Amsterdam on May 26 and there was no disembarkation testing.
  13. Can you share where it is posted that US residents will be able to test before they get off the ship?
  14. While that would be great and helpful I don't think Celebrity wants to have to handle positive cases onboard. Once you're off the ship and test positive it's not their problem.
  15. Current Celebrity Policy as of May 13 '22 cel-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy as of May 13 '22.pdfcel-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy as of May 13 '22.pdfcel-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy as of May 13 '22.pdf
  16. We were aware of that possibility and had a backup kit. Testing in the Amsterdam cruise ship terminal would have been difficult and waiting until you got to a very crowded Schiphol airport to test not any better.
  17. Understand.....I made the suggestion as Celebrity had routed us (after a direct day prior pre-cruise flight) to a red eye arriving the morning of the cruise. I was able to get them to change it to the previous day same flights/time so thought maybe they would do something for you. As for the test.....my DH tested onboard APEX last Wednesday using an EMed online proctored test.
  18. I'd get that changed if you can. Even if you do self-assist walk off as early as possible, it's almost an hour drive to the airport from Civitavecchia port (barring accidents/delays).
  19. My husband did an EMed test mid-day on APEX last week. The only problem he had was when trying to log into EMed it didn't recognize his log-in and he had to create a new one. We talked to others who experienced the same thing. No problem staying connected and we did in on a cell phone. The ship was on it's way back to Amsterdam and it was a sea day.
  20. We are from CA and did not have the ability to get "free" covid testing for travel that many in other parts of the country could so we knew how to do a proctored EMed test. On the APEX TA cruise we talked to several people....mostly from Florida...who had never done a proctored test as they always went to Walgreens or CVS. They had an idea of how to do it but were hesitant and crew onboard were saying "just download the Navica App and you can test in the terminal in Amsterdam". As those of us who have done EMed tests know there's more to it than that and for those who were on APEX and got off in Amsterdam there was no where to do the test in the terminal. Yes...everyone should have a plan before going on a cruise and most do.
  21. On APEX on the next to the last day of the TA cruise the Captain announced we'd reached the 3% Covid rate and asked people to wear masks.....which many didn't. There was no b2b testing for the next cruise to the Baltics.
