  1. Thank you! and agree about the wine glasses. They do make a difference. I'd already scoped out that for a bit more $ we could have a glass of Caymus. That's the wine that got me drinking reds. Curious about the Sea/Sky Walk and what deck you wouldn't choose for your cabin because of it. Can others up there see into your balcony on Riviera deck?
  2. We're on Discovery in Feb in Reserv Mini-Suite with Premier. We haven't sailed on Princess in several years so all they're offering now will be new to us. I'd love to eat in Ocean Terrace but my DH can't do fish/seafood. Do you know if they have any other options? Would also love to hear more about the Premier wines onboard? Is there anywhere one can see the menus for the Specialty and Casual Dining options? I'm enjoying your informative thread!
  3. We stayed in the Mayflower Park Hotel. It's a short walk from the Westlake Light Rail Station stop to the hotel. Pike Market is 4 blocks down Pine Street
  4. Maybe it's going to get better? Royal Caribbean Partners to Elevate Guest Experience
  5. SL on Quantum class does not offer any complimentary drinks 11-11 and no bar on Suite Sun Deck
  6. ANTHEM - currently onboard - Capt Srecko Ban started rotation Oct 15.
  7. The Cruise Contract for RCI currently says the cruise line can change the ports/itinerary. I'd think the other crise line contracts say the same. No refunds offered either. I'd think they only way a cruiser could cancel and get any $ back is if they had cancel for any reason insurance. As said in a previous post you agree to the terms of the Cruise Contract when you're checking in so, even if you didn't read it, you're bound by what it says.
  8. These are cancelled because they EMBARK in Israel.
  9. Cruise will not be cancelled. Ports for cruises scheduled to visit Israel are being changed.
  10. I was thinking of you as we see the situation in Israel. Stay safe.....
  11. I would have preferred the Branzino but it wasn't offered when we were on Wonder.
  12. We dined in Wonderland on Wonder in May and this was how my Halibut was served. Sadly it didn't look or taste good. Curious if what you had was prepared and looked the same.
  13. And we did longer cruises and they also counted as 1 point. Some gained and some lost during the conversion.
  14. Here's a link to the Webinar. This is what I heard: 1. Currently some status match 2. Opportunity do to more 3. 3 different brands RCI, Celebrity and Silversea 4. Status match doesn't thread together and is something we're working on. Starting at 18:12 you can listen....and decide for yourself......what was said.
  15. I was also just denied the Shareholder Benefit. This was the reason "This booking has a promotion which offers a significant discount and is not combinable with the Shareholder Benefit.". Guess if you don't pay published price you don't get any benefit.
  16. Agree....I'm sure he got lots of "hits" with that Topic. The blog is fan based and not affiliated/connected with RCI but there are a lot of cruisers who don't know that and think it's "official".
  17. I heard it the same way and was surprised to see how the answer is now being interpreted. I can't see Celebrity wanting to merge points and up status reciprocity. If they recognized Zenith/Pinnacle.......IMHO it woul be a disaster for Celebrity.....and I'm P on RCI.
  18. The JS on deck 6 shown in purple on the deck plan are J4 cat cabins and are on the bump out. No life boats directly in front of them. J1 cat JS are in dark blue and could have a small bit of obstruction. Where are you seeing that "all JS on deck 6 are available"?
  19. Agree that Covid is here to stay but, if someone is sneezing, coughing and exhibiting cold symtoms and even says they have a cold, why expose everyone else?
  20. @vitacuraThank you for taking us along on your wonderful cruise adventure. We've booked our 1st Regent cruise....on Mariner....from Miami to NYC May 17 '23. We've cruised since 1987 but mostly on Royal Caribbean and more recently Celebrity in the Retreat. We're really excited to try Regent! Your posts with pictures of menus, drink/wine lists, food etc are very helpful and informative and I'm looking forward to seeing more. @2012_Alaska_bound Is there a master list of "included" wine?
  21. I find the term Elegant Casual to be a bit of a Oxymoron. LOL.... and am glad Regent defines what they mean.
