  1. Recliner dude is sitting up with his back off the backrest so he can look out the window.
  2. Those small cans outside are there for dropping the small squares of paper inside the bathroom door that are used to cover the door handle as you exit. It's called a door tissue dispenser and looks similar to this and the used door tissues go in the can outside as you exit.
  3. Your dog needs a seeing eye dog. Compared to your inside cabin on Panorama this looks like a narrow broom closet. Don't mean to sound harsh, it just looks smaller.
  4. Of course and I agree with the OP that if you are on a cruise for the holiday the moist turkey at the buffet wins hands down. I wish Carnival would bring back the Steakhouse Brunch with its $25 charge. Now that was a meal to write (text?) home about.
  5. Good point, even the gravy is wrong. White, pasty looking gravy never holds pride of place when competing with brown gravy when served with turkey. Swanson's Original from the 1950's has more eye appeal than the Carnival plate of 2022.
  6. Perhaps you will suggest to Carnival that the flag of the United Nations could be present on stage standing alongside the American flag.
  7. All that cranberry sauce would spoil my appetite for pumpkin pie! 🙂
  8. These facilities are included in the price of your cruise fare, at least for now 😉 You never know when another shoe will drop at Carnival HQ.
  9. Why not? They charged $25 per person the last time they offered it.
  10. A "steakhouse brunch" search of this forum turned up one thread from 2019. Which ships currently offer the Steakhouse Brunch? Thank you
  11. I don't doubt the OP but I'd like to add that, at times, Carnival customers can receive odd looking emails that are legit. Yesterday I received an email from a different Carnival address that had to do with a reward I applied for requesting that the reward be used on an upcoming cruise. The email contained codes and jargon I had never seen before. Another time earlier this year I got a weird looking email from an internal department at Carnival advising me that the cabin I booked for an upcoming cruise was going to be out of service that cruise and I being reassigned, and upgraded, to a balcony on the same deck. The moral of the story is, as others have said, take no action on suspicious emails without first contacting Carnival yourself directly.
  12. See post #9 and it will help you if you look online for the deck plans of the ship. Good luck
  13. Many restaurants in the U.S. add a gratuity for large parties. On Carnival the tip is included at the steakhouse regardless of whether there is one guest or more.
  14. Gelato was served every day of the cruise in April. I hope this will be true in January as well.
  15. We like porthole cabins but you have to choose wisely. Some have one twin bed that does not have a second twin to convert to a king bed as shown in this photo. One person has to sleep on top of the couch in this example. Regardless of the bed configuration many porthole cabins have a huge shelf under the portholes that make for convenient storage. Other porthole cabins do have two twins that convert to king but there are fewer of them. All have a view and you always know what the weather is without looking on your TV.
