agree about volume
many pieces of great music are sev hundred yrs old.. there coud be variety most folks would enjoy or designate a party venue like they used to have on Reflection(?) great bar, with a dj booth. It was. left as a playground for kids!
Thanks
we bring our own crackers and will forage for cheese and deli meat at the buffet. AQ class no longer includes canapes but we enjoy an afternoon snack with wine!
Le Voyage looks great but too fancy for us..dh has food allergies.
Great pics.... we have the other itin with St Kitts Tortola and SJ..so it wil be fun to hear about your ports.
As to chairs in general in E CLass.. seriously not ergonomic or comfy and ugly
we will carry our on..Got a nice neoprene protective sack for w btls at Walmart online...
we believe it's 2 btls per cabiand no corkage fee if you have an alc package?? but ours is for our room with snacks...
A good dj will have various genres available..appropriate for the time place and audience.
We like most music other than rap and its progeny.. nothing anti women, nothing promoting violence or drugs!
.How about some Reggae/ Marley, Beatles, Queen, Moody Blues, Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffet, mowtown, country, blue grass , folk, rock, jazz and blues..???
HMMM..interesting..
Someone on our CC roll call just posted an invite to an event announced on FB...not sure if it's being friendly or poaching??? We are not going,, sticking with our roll call events! We have made connections with our roll call group..fb are unknown?????
Ugh.... we were just starting to think we 'd try the new Oceania ship from Miami.. small but not too small, and an upscale decor scheme. Itins go to Carib islands we have not been able to visit on X...BUT we do not agree with a forced added fee for alcohol we do not drink, or excursions we might not want!
So back to X and thoughts of Cunard!
The Rookery is great..even with new development nearby, Are u seeing any birds today? Still chilly here in Venice but we did not lose and olants/ shrubs over night.
We will uncover them later!
BON VOYAGE TO ALL!
We started posting on another site when we first began cruising..It was fairly rudimentary but had good exchange of info...less bashing and personal snipes. They either ceased operation and or we found Cruise Critic which has served our needs for info and reading reviews. Andy was our fav moderator,...he was on the ships quite a bit.
The roll calls and Connections parties have been helpul..Some join only to organize pvt excursions or to have their own little group, but for the most part we have had great experiences with the get togethers, cabin crawls, etc, Right now we have a good one for ASCENT 1/28.
We do not use any other soc media sites other than read some linked reviews. But we never join other media roll calls or groups. Having those groups have diluted things but CC is best for us..
Just our thoughts
