  1. 9327 has the bed by the balcony. I did a mock booking for AQ cabin as know there are some on deck 9 in order to see the deck plan as the drop down deck plans wouldn’t open. The SV 9329 has the square indicating it has an extra berth so bd by bath. They go every other bed by bath. So on deck 9 bed by bath in 9325, 29 and 9324.
  2. The IV has a total of 265 sq ft including the veranda area. The SV has 228 sq ft interior space and 89 sq stop balcony. Having stayed in both we thought the SV had better living space.
  3. We were in a middle SV deck 7 on the Ascent and never heard a sound from mooring lines or Eden. We booked the same SV on the Xcel.
  4. I would say Murano, if a 2nd Lawn Club Grill.
  5. And Southwest is now changing. Instituting assigned seats, adding premium($+) seats and checked luggage is on the way.
  6. Seabourn was on our radar but doesn’t sound like a good fit for us.
  7. We have been on over 40 Celebrity cruises and have had a great time on each. I would guess that I am not the only one who has never written a review. When something goes wrong people can be quick to tell anyone who will listen. When things go good they not so much. At one point I managed a large Payroll department responsible for paying 3000 + employees, mostly hourly with varying schedules, overtime, etc. If someone was shorted a hour they were quick to let us, their boss, my boss and anyone else know , but in 4 years only 2x did anyone call, write or tell there boss when their checks were consistently accurate and on for months.
  8. Have your TA waitlist you for anytime dining, good chance you will get moved before your cruise.
  9. Celebrity tried putting the Solstice in LA in fall 2022. They could not fill the ship. We got a great deal on a Celebrity Suite and the ship was roughly 70% full. I don’t think they will try that again any time soon.
  10. It is 90 minutes and a 30% discount on an Internet purchase ( package or upgrade). Been that way for the 12 years we have cruised on Celebrity.
  11. I can book specialty restaurants for our cruise in October 2025. Have you tried both on the website and on the app?
  12. 90 minutes internet for Elite.
  13. Concierge gets embarkation day lunch in MDR and all other meals. Blu does not have serve lunch any day but you get breakfast & dinner in Blu every day. I’ll forego 1 MDR lunch for Bku morning & evenings.
  14. We have done over 40 cruises on Celebrity, rarely had a sailing with over 25 -30 kids. There are options for adults only cruise lines, or cruise lines that while not marketed as adults only have minimal if any kids. IMO it is wishful thinking that Celebrity would go adults only and certainly not for the Caribbean during spring breaks months.
  15. In our experience they have 1 menu for half the cruise and then switch to a different menu and accompanying animation for the 2nd half.
  16. Can you share the cabin #. Some cabins are under carpeted areas of the Oceanview and not noisy, others can be noisy.
  17. File a claim with your travel insurance company for the expenses not reimbursed/paid by your TA or Celebrity. Most have a limited time to file a claim.
  18. The 1st photo was of our cabin. I deleted it a while ago. I used a black out curtain.
  19. Our 1st Edge cruise I brought a curtain and hung along side the bed with magnetic hooks from the ceiling. It was enough that DH could sleep and I could partially open the window covering.
  20. There is plenty to do on sea days. In addition to the normal sea day activities TA & TP crossings have some speakers everyday doing 2 different topics each day, often matinee shows in the theater and some type of art classes. Also some of the “normal” sea day activities turn into multi day competitions “.
  21. I’d pay more for the floor to ceiling window vs a inside. We have stayed in a IV and it was fine, prefer a balcony for some itineraries but there is no way I would stay in an inside, even for free.
  22. Suggest you get on the waitlist. If you don’t clear the waitlist then when you board go to one of the MDRs and speak to the MaitreD.
  23. I always do. Every time I don’t I end up going to Guest services to give them the credit card info for tge 2nd leg.
