  1. The App has been Updated to show dining. For Sept 26-29 sailing, the App shows under Journey some activities. To get the full activities they will be on the paper Patter that you receive each night. The Sept 28-Oct15, will probably show up soon.
  2. Can you mention if at each port if there is anything at the port - stores, restaurants, places to get lobster rolls, something to see. I plan on taking Princess excursions, would like to have a lobster roll or two while on the cruise.
  3. You can call room service to have no cheese on your salad. Lets say you were allergic to cheese and it is touching the other food.
  4. If you have the Plus or pay the $5 room service, call and have no cheese added to the salad.
  5. I am Wendy, I am the same B2B cruises with my sister (Kathy) and brother in law (Warren). I am from Toronto and the others are from Montreal. We fly on the 25 and are staying at the Pan Pacific before boarding on the 26. I am hoping Air Canada doesn’t go on strike at that time. There is a Roll Call for 3 Day Coastal - Sept 26 and 16 Day Hawaii -Sept 29.
  6. Enjoyed reading your review. I am doing this August 2025. Did you a list what food is offered each day at the buffet? Did you a list of what food is offered each day for Elite, Platinum lounge?
  7. Yes, they saw how popular the 2024 sailing was and cabins being booked fast for the 2026 sailing, they decided to keep increasing the price to see if people will pay and they booked. I booked on Past Passengers day, Elite lost another perk, felt sorry for Blue passengers trying to book a week later at the higher price. Will have to wait until final payment to see how many drop out due to the high cost.
  8. The price started jump within 1/2 hour of my agent booking mine . It is the Solar Eclipse 2026 sailing. The Solar Eclipse 2024 cruise was sold out. A few in our Roll Call were on the 2024 sailing. Yes, it is crazy prices. My balcony price now is like a full suite price on any other cruise.
  9. From our Roll Call in 2013, we had 16 people sign up. We hired a van that stopped at Stirling Castle, drop off near the Edinburgh Castle,Tattoo tickets, arranged a pre set meal at a restaurant near the Castle entrance with drop off back at the ship. We made it back before the Princess buses and cheaper than Princess cost.
  10. I have been 2x in the yellow section. I bought the tickets myself. Princess tickets were also in the yellow section. The seats are in a long row from one aisle to the other aisle. The show is 90 minutes with no intermission. I was told from CC passenger that went the year before to exit when the solo bagpiper starts as there is only one entrance in/out to the castle and is VERY crowded when everyone is leaving at the same time. We could still hear the piper and fireworks as we walked to our van. There are port-a-potties near the entrance. The show goes on rain or shine. Since the show is at night and can be cold/windy in the stands be prepared for rain/cold. I put on a jacket, wool hat and gloves both times. Bring a small grocery plastic bag to put on the seat encase it rained and the seat is wet. Saturday show time is different than the weekday show. The weekday show will be too late to take the train back to the show. Check out your Roll Call, maybe others might make a group. We were a group of 16 from our Roll Call. One person purchased all the tickets in a row as you don’t want to search for others sitting in different areas at the end of the show. Other person hired a van with a stop at Sterling Castle and drop off at the ship after.
  11. When I booked my Aug 8, 2026 Solar Eclipse cruise when it was released with no OBC. The cruise fare went continuously up within hours of being available. The cruise has gone up by $8,436/cabin or $4,218/pp from went I booked my balcony cabin.. They are offering $200/pp OBC with the Labour Day Sale.
  12. If you have Standard fare, if you purchase a drink they add 18% to your drink cost, that is why I am asking for her
  13. I should have read before posting, while using my phone, fat fingers. Asking for sister, her first time getting Plus. I am not interested in the Premier myself. If you plan to upgrade from Plus to Premier while onboard DO you pay the 18% service charge?
  14. If you plan to upgrade Plus to Premier while onboard you pay the 18% service charge.
  15. From a kitchen tour, we were told, the left over food is grounded up and at certain ocean areas they are able to released into the ocean for the fish. The chef said “it is a circle of life - you eat the food, the fish eat the food and you eat the fish”.
  16. I was on a Holland cruise, with a perk that everyone on the ship got a specialty dinner. Holland choose the time for you, there was no changing time as there was no tables available
  17. I like to eat early so can see the 7:30 show. I wonder with the unlimited specialty dining, will there be table available?
  18. With the new Premier having unlimited specialty dining, do think there will be any tables available at decent times?
  19. Following along. Enjoy your cruise and your stay in Rome.
  20. It would be nice to have a few fruit pies slices in buffet/dining room/International Cafe instant of all cake or tarts. I know they offer an apple pie once during a cruise.
