Depends on the ship. I know some close during the night. Plus the coffee machine will run out of milk, beans, etc. and be unusable until serviced.

Did you win? If not you must not have impressed all that much.🤣 We dressed up on our TA on the Symphony. Lots of people loved our costumes. We didn’t do the Hook R walk, trying to get votes. It is a really fun costume party, and a highlight. I highly recommend going on a Halloween cruise. JC<———— hates dressing up for this, but his DW likes it a lot, and I like her a lot, so I do it.

We skipped the touring production when it came to town this last time. That said, it is a very good musical. The ship version is actually well done. That said, a show about silly cats, and ascending into t heaven to be reborn as a CAT… isn’t exactly right down most people’s alley. I think it is infinitely better than Hairspray, or we will rock you, or the music man, or Kinky Boots, or a bazillion other musicals. It is not Les Miz, or Miss Saigon, or Evita, or Jesus Christ Superstar, or Fiddler on the Roof. Some of the songs are a bit silly, but if at the end you are not tearing up at Memory, you have no heart. Or you have never had a pet. JMHO and YMMV jc

I admit when it comes to CC, sometimes I lack wisdom. Of course, I, also, limit my sharing of TMI. Minor wisdom, is maybe the best I can do.

Have used the bag 2 times per cruise for the last several, and never noticed a smell. I have a pretty good nose, too. jc

Antigen is accepted as long as it is proctored. PCR is supposed to be better for actually accurately showing you have or don’t have.

Ships, are all big things made of steel and wood and other sundry construction materials. They literally have nothing to do with your experience on them…. The crew and captain, however do. So, accurately speaking you are least admiring the crew on the Harmony. The FlowRiders, are pretty much the same on all. The Aqua Theatre ditto, etc…. just hit one of my pet peeves, sorry for this rant. jc

On my last cruise a guy had one, and filmed me surfing. I have the video, but I haven’t gone thru the freaky software yet to distill it into something watchable yet. No time too much life going on. It seems really cool, he had a 10-12 foot selfie stick, and it created drone type video. While I was on the cruise waiting for my next ride on the FlowRider, I researched them and at the time I was hot for buying them. That said, seemed like a steep learning curve to edit and lots and lots of digital stuff, aka really large digital files. I already record stuff in 4K and it is a PITA dealing with the editing of that kind of stuff. Not to mention high volume storage. My 3 year old Mac Book Pro, while a good computer is probably not up to the task in a reasonable time. I need someone to convince me my negativity is misplaced. JC

How long are we citizens going to let this theatre go on? Testing, and vaccinating…. Not stopping the infections nor saving the planet. Just wasting money and resources. Living with this horrible pestilence we must. That was a little Yoda… out of place. 😇

It is hard on Oasis ships to get a comedy club reservation, we went to the standby line in December on Allure when it was about 55% full, and were able to get in the first night, and again a few days later, but in the app… NADA. It is a frustration, but whether you do it because you are on a roll call and someone says you can book entertainment or it happens based on when you get on the ship, reality is some people are going to not get to book the show. Don’t know the resolution to something with demand of 2000 people and room for 600. JC

So, I keep reading the Kraken fantasy postings, and I am wondering if any of you have had the Kenny Chesney stuff. I am not a country music fan, but his Blue Chair Rums will make the ladies lose their under….. I like my rum in a classic Tiki drink, but most of his are really good all by themselves. I don’t drink them, but the ladies in my posse love them. 😂 I imagine there is more sugar and cream in them than in John’s Mich Ultra, but hey if it works.🤣

Physical size not so much, population around a million, so that seems big to me. If she lives in the city it is not going to be a challenge to meet. Other than the whole communication thing. That is always hard when both parties don’t speak the other language. That said, lots of English speaking people there, I am sure she has a friend that speaks English. jc

If she lives in Cartagena I can’t imagine why you couldn’t meet up. We were there in May. If you can still contact her set up a meeting for lunch or something.

They did last month, and I booked it, unfortunately, the stop got cancelled because of dredging or lack of at the pier. JC
