Another advantage of separate bookings - although not as great for domestic versus international - is you book each flight independently using EZ-Air and can change and re-fare them independently. Generally, cabin pricing is not all that different. I always prefer to book separately and if booking early enough, can get same cabin each time.

IDK for certain - and perhaps you don't either - but my impression/understanding of this whole thing from the get-go is that the Princess App runs off a separate database from the reservation system (POLAR). There is at least a one-way feed from POLAR to App DB. There is likely a reverse feed for things like ID/Pswd and not sure off the top what else. I believe a large amount of the issues have been data-related and that also points to the fact of a separate database for the App. If it was a common DB, there would not be data corruption issues.

In the Play Store, it has been the Princess MedallionApp for a while now. Princess was not in the name originally, IIRC. A minor change to drop "Medallion". We shall see.

All ships I am aware of have a "Club Class" - or "Reserve Class" now - sign to indicate where those folks should enter. Otherwise it would have said "Club Class Only" IMO.

I think these are the options: 1. Sign in as them and order the OBC under Onboard Services, paying with your CC. They will "see" this if checking their credits ahead of time. 2. Phone Princess and make your request. Pay over the phone. It is possible this way they won't see anything before boarding the ship - I think. Hope someone can comfirm.

For spouses, nominate one phone to get the update and play with it. At least the other phone will still have the old. It could be that an update is automatic in order to continue using. We don't really know if something is coming all-new or just another update of the month.

No, it is not policy. What is ridiculous is that the Princess App IT team cannot program their way out of a wet paper bag, so some guests run into issues booking and others don't. If you can get the right person on the phone at Princess (choose Dine My Way help in the phone tree selections), they might be able to make a res for you. Otherwise, you either wait or live with getting refundable OBC on the ship. That said, the App may allow you to make a free res another time. Try cancelling your res. Then use the web version of the app (linked via Princess.com) to access DMW and try the res again and see what happens.

Historically, and the case today, experiences like CT and WMD are only booked once on the ship. Princess has recently opened up the 360 experience for advance booking via Dine My Way.
