Let me just chime in here. We fly DL often and have never seen DL check carryon bags. In front of us recently was a couple with 3 carryons each and backpacks filled to almost exploding. And in back of us was a girl with two carryons a backpack a large purse and a dog carrier.
I for one wish the gate agents would start enforcing policy.
We usually buy one person 2 devices...and we also have been able to create a Hotspot in our cabin so we can use both devices and our laptop at the same time.
San Pedro is my home port only a 45 min drive....so I'll stick with Navigator. We were so happy an RCI ship finally came back to our coast so we will continue to support that.
Thanks for sharing this video. We usually fly business or first class on DL but I must say I'm a real fan of DL ONE. Just did a couple of those this year. And luckily my May 2023 flight to HNL will be on the DL 767-300. I've gotten some amazing rates on my flights that makes it possible.
One of my best deals was my DL ONE LAX-AMS this past July..$3200.00 for the two of us...it certainly pays to stay up late and check OFTEN !!!!
Last night I purchased Voom S/S for two of my cruises in 2023. It worked out cheaper to do it the old way. One person two device plan. No problems getting the confirmations and the correct charges to my credit card. Whew...I was expecting problems but was glad to see none.
To us these are all DIY ports. We're not excursion people....we've been going to these ports since the early 1990's and often.
Puerto Vallarta...we take a shuttle ($10.00 for two) from the port to the beginning of the Malecon. When you're ready to go back to the ship go one block over and flag down a taxi ask for price before you get in. Again should be $10.00 for the taxi. Large Walmart across from the port if you need anything and the taxi will easily drop you off there if needed.
Cabo...after getting off the tender there will be lot's of vendors..again we just walk into town.
Mazatlan...take a taxi at the port to the Central Market downtown area. If you want to eat we love the Panama Bakery. Ask a local to point out as it's just around the corner from the market.
All these ports will have vendors with lot's of options. No need to book anything with your cruiseline.
Enjoy !!!
Try Cruise Control (888 416-8830) a great company that pick up at several Orlando hotels.
We highly recommend this private shuttle company. Book for your return back to MCO too.
I'm seeing the same thing pricing my 7 nighter it seems less to book a one device per person than the old way of booking one person two devices...Crazy !!!
The internet pricing is weird. It used to be a better deal to book one person 2 devices...am I the only one that see's it's better to book one per person now ???
Saw late last night internet pricing....WOW...has the format changed.
Just checked my cruise planner...getting the same message many of you have been getting.
GONE SAILING...sounds like IT HAHA !!!
We still feel perfectly safe in the town tourist areas. Was just at these ports in January and again last month and will be going again January 2023. Enjoy yourself.
Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo. Also Hutalco during our Panama Canal itinerary.
We just did a port stop in Sitka this past September. Booked with a private vendor at the port to do the Raptor Center & Fortress of the Bear...this was a great tour !!!
