I don't care if people fight it out over wearing formal attire. But, I was just thinking 'formal attire' would be a terriffic username here!

Hey!!! I was excited to learn that more people are interested in cruising now, than during the pandemic! 🙂 <--- if needed -

Ask Carnival Corp’s CEO: Call for Questions for Josh Weinstein

But ... a while ago, there was a sub-forum here titled something like "Ask princess marketing a question..." In my ever humble opinion, it was paid advertising by princess... People flocked to the thread, and asked hundreds of questions. This resulted in maybe a dozen half hearted answers, by someone in princess marketing. (I think some of the more knowedgeable posters here could have provided better answers) I think that exercise defines how much princess cares about our gentle readers' questions. And, the thread title only said 'ask' questions, nothing about questions being 'answered', so at least there was that! -

I wonder if the loving couples paid retail?

I don't want to make a fight with you, but being elite doesn't help. As you can see from the replies, the princess affecianados love princess no matter what. This puts John Padgette in the awesome position of being able to cut just about anything, and the princess fans will still line up. Every once in a while some poor poster posts something like ... what happened to me was so bad that I am going to change cruise lines. They get mocked. Go John! There is no downside!

Konnichiwa Japan (is welcoming home the Diamond Princess)

I wonder if diamond is really at that welcome... https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-03-02/cruise-ships-return-to-japan-three-years-after-deadly-diamond-princess-outbreak?leadSource=uverify wall -
Welcome to the internet. As Dave Barry said, it's CB radio, but with typing.

port everglades embark terminal 21 but disembark terminal 2

I don't know how long your cruise is, but I was able to retrieve three months of future data from the PE site. https://pevvesseltraffic.broward.org/webx/ Last page of results from above: -
I didn't think it was private. More like a Sun Myung Moon wedding...

Do vows expire? Then, I guess it would be worth $250. For me, I think Mrs. 256 would prefer a $250 jewelery store purchase...

This site will let you generate QR codes: https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/ Just pick a fun URL, and save (or print) the QR code to show at the terminal. Princess certainly can't be expecting it to work! Here is a fun QR code, just to get you started:

I'm sorry, I won't tell you Santa Clause is not real, so you can still have that! 🙂 If I recall correctly, the global innovators encountered many difficulties moving their app+medallions+sensors from a warehouse in Miramar onto ships, as they discovered ships were made of metal, which blocked signals. That was in 2017/2018 ish. Costa Concordia sank in 2012. It is an absurd boast by princess/global innovators that the technology could have saved all of the passengers on the concordia. Seems unlikely, as they hadn't mastered ships are made of metal until five years later. But, what do I know? The gent who was in charge of the program is now president of princess...

Thank you for posting. To me, that seems wildly optimistic. You have to assume that all networking and servers are not flooded and still working, and that the passengers had their medallions with them. Given Princess's difficulty with simple tasks, I wouldn't want to bet MY life on the medallion. I always assumed the purposed of the medallion was to monitize customer behaviour. That's what carnival said in 2017. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/os-carnival-te2-orlando-20170109-story.html

I have a universal cable in my car ... micro-usb, usb-c, lightening. From time to time passengers have various devices to charge. Seems like a tiny courtesy to have a cable for them..

I'm not disagreeing with you. I can't find anything current that says Accenture is still working on the medallion app for princess/carnival corp. I just happened to see a headline this morning. I found this from November 2022. God knows what it means. "Travel into the metaverse" https://www.accenture.com/us-en/blogs/compass-travel-blog/travel-into-the-metaverse It discusses carnival, on the Accenture website. My interest was piqued after I saw this headline, this morning: "Accenture slashes 19,000 jobs worldwide" https://edition.cnn.com/2023/03/23/business/accenture-job-cuts-19000/index.html This is undated, but I think it is from 2019, again on the Accenture website: "Reimagining guest experiences on the high seas" https://www.accenture.com/us-en/case-studies/travel/carnival-cruise
