  1. Anthem April sailing has he DBP for 66.99. refreshment at 22.99. UDP at 207.99. Surf stream at 20.99.
  2. No. Only 1 offer per booking unless combining two like offers for two people sharing the cabin,
  3. When family is visiting - I'm sure Captains have special privileges but I wonder just how often family is allowed to "visit". And, if Captain has 5 kids where do they all sleep? does family get a courtesy cabin? Inquiring minds want to know 😁
  4. So true. Anyone booking 2024 should be buying the voom packages as soon as they open.
  5. I guess remote workers will have more options now 😁.. Not great for lower cruise prices any time soon..
  6. Yes that's the info I have too. Not really sure what the benefit of signature is anyway. Free internet and annual balcony as opposed to interior. If someone is signature, they are getting balcony offers (or higher) anyway most probably on a regular basis. If you're going to play it anyway then that's another thing but pushing for it I don't see an incentive. They should really have a midway level between Prime/Signature - some basic freeplay with each booked cruise would be a nice benefit for sure.
  7. You can pay the deposit at nextcruise now and have 12 months to choose a date if you don't choose a sailing at nextcruise. If you're sure you are sailing, do the nextcruise - just be aware deposit is nonrefundable.
  8. People rushing and cutting in front of me with all their very large luggage that they MUST self carry at 9:15am right in between my kids and I on disembarking rush hour.
  9. Yes, I've seen others post the same email with a rejection day of sailing. I was wondering if Royal Up still sends rejection emails at all prior to day of sailing or whether this new "review" version is what goes out to everyone instead.
  10. Please amp adventure ocean (to be on par with Oasis space/amenities wise) and change the program ages to include 13 year olds - or at least give this age group some supervised activities. The teen program starting at 12 or 13 (depending on ship) is completely unenticing to pre/new teens - all they do is roam around the ship aimlessly. Please have an ENCLOSED solarium. Hot or rainy days are just a waste. Please add more international night themes to windjammer. I get people like Indian/Asian/Caribbean/Italian - but there ARE other cuisines. A salad in the morning would also be a nice option with the SMALL cucumbers as opposed to the watery giants they serve. Please also keep the windjammer open until 10pm (at the minimum for late ports). Guacamole - please improve this. RCCL's version of guacamole is just not right. Please change entertainment schedule more often for those who sail more often - at least rotate the offerings once in a while. Please offer better shade at the outdoor pools. Please PLEASE upgrade your casinos! Even the amped ships have no new machines but at least the seats are comfortable. Casinos should be refreshed at least annually. Please - bigger tables on the balconies so I could have a plate of pastries AND a cup of coffee on there without worrying one or the other is about to fall off (Anthem - this is aimed at least at you). SEAPLEX & 270 - please install these on every ship 😁
  11. "We have reviewed the RoyalUp bids for your upcoming sailing onboard Freedom of the Seas®, and while we have not selected your offer yet, the team onboard the ship may choose it for upgrade based on availability at departure time. You will be able to modify or cancel your bid(s) up to 2 hours before departure on embarkation date. If you do not receive any communication by departure time, your cabin has not been upgraded. If you do not wish to be upgraded onboard, you may cancel your offer by clicking the below link and following through with the cancellation steps." Just got this email too. I know this has been circulating as of late for Royal Up bidders. Out of curiosity, my question is whether this is the new email that goes out to everyone that bids or whether they still send actual rejections.
  12. I for one thoroughly enjoyed my three cruises on RCCL this year. The ships were marvelous, service impeccable (despite obvious short staffed crew) and food was very pleasing as well. If I didn't like something, I tried something else. Always left a meal thoroughly satisfied overall. And again - service was always so amazing throughout the ships. Just for that they all deserve 10 stars working as hard as they do with such amazing attitudes. Sure there was room for improvement in some areas, but for the value I get for the overall experience I don't think I could find something comparable elsewhere - be it on land or water. Set your budget and expectations accordingly. I don't remember being at a land resort not coming back home saying there should be some improvements either. Nothing in life is perfect for everyone 100% of the time. It's pretty impossible. Best part? No cooking/cleaning/errands and I'm on vacation! To each his own. That's just my opinion.
  13. Definitely not retired but for the right price I would be on that sailing. Great ship visiting ABC and only having to fly one way would have been a good selling point for me.
  14. I was looking for the repositioning sailing when the Oasis goes from Miami to NJ late spring. Alas - does not exist. There's a short 4 day closed loop out of Miami and then three days later the Oasis starts its summer season in NJ. Anyone know why?
  15. NICE! was that per person or total bid? What category were you originally booked in? I'm booked on freedom end of august and my minimum bid from Balcony to JS is $70 pp. GS is showing $125pp minimum.
  16. Anyone upgraded this summer on short weekend cruise? I know they've been sailing at capacity. Wondering what everyone's experience has been and when the win/rejected email came. Thanks!
  17. Right. On a SEPARATE PAGE that is NOT even linked on any of the other dozens of pages. Yes.
  18. That's what I was hoping for. Essentially they simply expanded their potential customer base allowing unvaccinated adults. Good for business. If they left the vaccine requirement as it was and eased testing the pool of customers would have stayed the same. (not debating medical validity of either just making an observation).
  19. Unvaccinated will be able to cruise from limited US ports. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Starting with September 5th departures, all travelers regardless of vaccination status can cruise on the following itineraries, as long as they meet any testing requirements to board. Cruises from Los Angeles, California. Browse itineraries. Cruises from Galveston, Texas. Browse itineraries. (Note: Currently, only guests that show a valid vaccination record can get off the ship in Grand Cayman) Cruises from New Orleans, Louisiana. Browse itineraries. (Note: Currently, only guests that show a valid vaccination record can get off the ship in Grand Cayman) Cruises from a European homeport. Browse itineraries. (Note: Guests that are not “up to date” on their vaccination per EMA standards will need to take a test onboard in order to get off the ship in Greece and Spain)
  20. Please show me where it says I can use a certificate of recovery if I'm vaccinated in lieu of a test (which I can). Regardless. A simple chart like NCL has would be much more clear and useful with a link to more comprehensive details as in the link you attached for those that want a more comprehensive explanation behind their reasoning.
  21. Update - Testing still required but some ports accept unvaccinated. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center?icid=hlthys_wrnssn_hlt_nbrdxp_pghdr_3467
  22. NCL clearly outlines in a chart what is required including for vaccinated, unvaccinated, by age and when using a certificate of recovery. All of the required information is on 1 page and 1 page only. Royal doesn't have that anywhere on their site. I am using a certificate of recovery and couldn't get a straight answer. Have to search for the information on their website as it is not linked anywhere in their info pages. Called Royal and got different responses from different reps.
  23. Loyal to Royal but NCL has their act together. 1 Chart. Clear instructions. No need for a million calls, google searches, speculations etc etc etc https://www.ncl.com/sail-safe
