We sailed last summer in a standard veranda cabin on Pursuit. My husband uses a cpap, we requested distilled water and an extension cord in advance from special needs. They were both in the cabin when we embarked. When he ran low on the water during the cruise, our cabin steward brought more. The outlet in our cabin was not next to the head of the bed but on the opposite wall, so the extension cord was used. No problems at all.

Looks like a great cruise! Can’t wait to read all about it. Happy planning!

My daughter is going on Odyssey the beginning of August. They booked a balcony guarantee and we’re assigned a cabin on deck 11, not obstructed view.

Breweries/fun bars & local fare in Brugges or LeHavre?
Mrs.Dukes replied to KKB's topic in British Isles/Western Europe
When we were in Bruges in 2019, we visited De Halve Maan brewery. We took the tour there, and my husband had some of the beer (I don’t drink beer.) We really enjoyed it. -
We took it from the Anne Frank house. We walked from the ship. It’s a pretty good walk.

We stayed at The Warwick in Brussels. Very convenient to the train and main square, and very nice hotel -

Enjoy your cruise. We visited all those ports (Amsterdam instead of Rotterdam) on an Azamara cruise last summer. We really enjoyed all the ports. -
We’ve taken a few canal tours in Amsterdam. Our favorite was Flagship Amsterdam.

Thank you Sleep7 for sharing this awesome cruise report with us. I really enjoyed reading it. Haven’t been to Italy in a long time, definitely need to consider a trip like you took! You are brave flying in from JFK on the day of the cruise, but totally understand the vacation time limits as my husband is still working too. (I have happily retired!)

We visited Newcastle as a port stop in 2019. Based on a recommendation that we got on this board, we went to the Beamish open air museum. We took a taxi, it was about a 30 minute ride. The taxi driver asked if we wanted to be picked up later, so we arranged the return trip with him. On the way back, we had time so the taxi driver gave us a brief drive-by tour of Newcastle. We really enjoyed the day there.
