  1. There are no chairs to rent at St. Catherine or any amenities. The NCL ferry docks where it says Hunters Wharf on the map. The public ferry is at Pennos Wharf. They close to each other. The red line is to Tobacco Bay. Follow to the right along the water front until Water St.
  2. They are not sanctioned. I took one out of desperation from Clearwater and the car was in good shape. It was his personal car. I always look at the tire tread. As far as charges I can’t say generally but he charged the same $20 fare as the taxi that took us from St Georges to Clearwater.
  3. Most if not all cruise lines don’t allow anyone under 21 to travel solo. They must travel with someone over 21 or over.
  4. You can also use iCloud Private Relay on Apple devices which is like a VPN if you have more than the included iCloud storage. The only time I use my VPN (Nord) is when I want to spoof my location. For example I don't have Hulu so I can't get Always Murders in the Building. Disney Plus in Canada has Always Murders so I connect to a Chnadian Nord VPN server and I can download Always Murders. That is where the VPN comes in handy. One thing about VPN's you have to trust that they are not tracking or other malicious activity. Nord VPN and Express VPN have audits done to confirm privacy. The free VPN's that are out there are problematic. Thet have to be logging and selling info to exist. As for browser I suggest Safari, Firefox, DuckDuckGo or Brave as they are known as privacy first browser. The browser to avoid if you want privacy is Chrome. They were even caught collecting data in incognito mode. Googles whole model is collecting data to sell ads.
  5. I believe PUPs are a marketing campaign. It will end someday but until they take it off the website I think it is has not ended. I would not make any predictions as to whether it is about to end or not. In the past when that prediction was made a PUP opportunity popped up…
  6. They are good on the ferries. There is no place in the Dockyard to buy the ticket booklet. They are available as a digital version on the digital fare app ShoreLink that came out a few weeks ago but it appears from reports I have read online it may not be reliable yet.
  7. I was on the first time a Celebrity ship circled in front. Since then they didn’t do it 2 times I sailed out of Cape Liberty but they did do it many times.
  8. They have to get permission from the Harbor Master to do the sail by. Depends on congestion and wind conditions. The Captain will ask for permission they know passengers like it but sometimes they can’t get it permission.
  9. No so easily. Oasis has a retractible smokestack. They had to refurbish it when they started sailing Oasis out of Cape Liberty because it had atrophied from not being used for years.
  10. It was $3 but sorry it is not running. Sharing a taxi won't be expensive. Also there might be some gypsy type vehicles offering rides.
  11. Yes, multiple people can use one book. It is one ticket per ride, Yes, to multiple days.
  12. Still in business. +1 441-297-4032 accs@logic.bm
  13. I would not cruise any cruise line if I knew they would overrule a Captain and instruct them to proceed. Did the Captain comply and proceed despite the dangerous weather?
  14. To get to Shelly Bay you can take the ferry to Hamilton and then the #10 or 11 bus. Or you can take a taxi.
  15. At Shelly Bay beach there is now food and beverages and chair rentals. This is a nice beach with calm waters and a playground. Screenshots are from Instagram.
  16. I think a Captain can skip a port for weather reasons, safety or technical reasons without consulting the head office before they do it. They can change course too. They can't do it on a whim. Obviously they can't add or substitute port without consulting the head office.
  17. I would not be surprised if there are no Celebrity sailings to Bermuda from Cape Liberty in 2026.
  18. The hostess would have known if the invite was declined. Also the host would meet the invitees for cocktails before dinner.
  19. Exact change. Or buy tokens or a transportattion pass at the visitor information center. They mean no paper bills. There is a digital fare system now for about a month but I have read it having problems.
  20. Seriously some posters are living in the past. Our culture has changed to less formal dress and more freedom of dress. The ones claiming sophistication are actually not sophisticated. Sophisticated people adjust to changing times.
  21. When I am driving to a restaurant I leave the hat in the car. Unbelievably though there are a lot of eateries within walking distance though and I refuse to drive anywhere that I can walk to. If it is jacket weather I have flat caps that fit in my jacket pocket. I don’t usually wear a hat indoors on a cruise but if I did it would only be at the buffet returning from port. The person on Seabourn in the dining room is probably a multi millionaire who made their wealth in tech.
  22. It is very sunny here often not a cloud and the angle is right in my eyes so a hat is desirable. It is very bright. Also sun protection is desirable. I am not bald. I usually don’t leave home without a hat during daylight hours. I even wear a hat in the pool. I have different types from ball cap to wide brimmed. Sunset today is 8:30. This is not Canada or Vermont with a lot of cloudy overcast hours. If I go to a non casual sit down restaurant I remove my hat but it stays on at burger restaurants, sandwich shops, pizza places, fast food and BBQ joints.
  23. Celebrity Millennium class and RCI Radiance class have many similarities. If you pay attention when onboard you can see them. I was told they use the same hull design but I don’t know if that is true. They were built in the same time period. So I think Discovery Class could use the same platform without being carbon copies.
  24. If the class is shared with Celebrity then 90,000 could make sense.
