  1. I don't think there is a weight limit but those fragile paper bags burst super easy, therefore limiting your yield!
  2. They likely won't even look at your marriage license. They check for same first and middle name and date of birth when you have a different last name than your birth certificate. Just make sure your booking name matches your photo ID in this case driver license. You will be fine. Last but not least make sure it is a government issued birth certificate and not one issued by a hospital.
  3. Not survive off the float, but entice more people into buying cheers with the discount code they are going to provide in lieu of the too good to be true one day price that everyone soaked up. But you are correct, it is probably just the usual incompetence of Carnival at work here.
  4. This almost seems like the classic bait and switch car dealers use 😉
  5. That is a really good deal! I used the Capital One 23 dollar deal also a couple months ago. It took about 6 weeks to show up as a statement credit. I now have AARP until 2032 🤣
  6. The better discount on AARP and no shipping already more than paid for your AARP membership! You saved 75 dollars on 2500 dollars worth.
  7. That can be very cruise handy if it doesn't have surge protection. I got the usb port which has 5 slots but no extra plug spots.
  8. I am guessing Miracle cruises for April 2025 are next to be cancelled. My booking for a 9 day on April 6th 2025 has not shown up for booking for at least 3 weeks and this is after a scheduled dry dock for the miracle in Feb/March 2025.
  9. I keep checking my Chase Freedom card but haven't been this fortunate 🥲.
  10. There are still some good ones in the upcoming section. I had to slow down my point binge because I am now down to about 150k. I want to spread the small chance I have around a bit. It seems like the games have been a bit more generous lately in awarding points on the wheel and scratch off, at least for me. Now using points I probably got from Cabo Bob's sleuthing!
  11. Or an easy quick fix is go to incognito mode also. That works for me in a pinch.
  12. The only good thing about the beer station is there are better plastic cups for me to use in the lido restaurant.
  13. You won't regret it. If you have Capital One quicksilver they currently have a 23 dollar off offer for AARP. BofA also recently had and 8 dollar offer also with their cash rewards visa. There are a lot of discounts besides Carnival through AARP like Home Depot, Lowes, restaurants etc. I have paid for membership many times over.
  14. On the sweepstakes. You can unload 10k at a time on some of them with 200 entries. I was at 700k points but I figure I might as well use them for what it's worth.
  15. I am down to about 150k points, I am spending them like a drunken sailor now 😉
  16. You are a brave soul for cards that are now yielding 6.25% for the 100's and 7% for the 500's that are mailed. Too much risk for me with mail and the low discount after shipping fees.
  17. Usually when this happens, and it does fairly often, I log out and log back in and the missing cruise repopulates without having to find all the info and manually add the booking.
  18. Time for Carnival to either up the bar to reach the different levels or move away from perks that are limited by capacity. I would consider it a win win for Carnival and I if they just gave me an anytime beverage of my choice and canned the party. They could save manpower money by not holding these events. I don't think anyone goes to watch the video and cheer for their favorite ships they have been on. It has been reduced to an alcohol free for all. This won't help plats/diamonds that have cheers but then again the parties don't either.
  19. Kind of ironic that the newest ships of the fleet cannot accomodate a party with drinks and don't seem to have enough regular dining capacity. Back to the drawing board! And yes it is only on these ships for now, but the water is being tested.
  20. And you still pay a gratuity for the pleasure of self serve!
  21. Well at least maybe you will get better hours at Cabo now. The current 630 am to being back onboard at 130 pm is rather lame.
  22. It is already a fairly long one scheduled for the Miracle from 2/21/25 to 4/1/25 but who knows. I will find out eventually if they cancel my cruise. No worries for now and a call to Carnival probably would not yield an answer from the phone rep, because they likely won't know.
  23. I have thought of that as a possibility also but a 4 day cruise also sold out after the dry dock already? Everything after the dry dock is no longer listed which seems a bit unusual for 2025 to be this sold out.
