  1. I hoping for a 50% off second person sale. Sadly, things at Royal Cruising must be going quite well as I haven't read an "I'm never going to sail Royal Caribbean" Manifesto for quite some time.
  2. Truth is, I wash all my own towels and leave the stateroom so clean and tidy the steward hands me a $100 at the end of the cruise.
  3. Not the special Genie Entry. Just the Suites line.
  4. Now the response at the "Survey" is... Storage limit for survey exceeded...
  5. Look up Royal Caribbean wedding cruises, there is an inquiry question form/contact on the part of royal site
  6. Email Royal for the best answer. planning to get married twice on the same embarkation day?
  7. Yup 6 and 8 tables. No 14 person table would be able to be created.... Okay, if you are a really, really thin family, maybe you could cram onto a table. But, I mean really thin.
  8. We’ve got 12 booked for 2024. None have automatically received the OBC. I was planning on sending the data in next week or so, but now I’ll wait a while to see what happens.
  9. I said this before when this issue first came up. I told the wife that I like it twice a day, she said once a day is plenty.
  10. My entire list of deals purchased from the 4th sale are listed below.
  11. The port area is way better than it was just a couple years ago. And they seem to be increasing the number of vendors. Taxi to town to hang out at the Krazy Lobster, reasonable. $15ish depending on your negotiating skills.
  12. I believe that NCL also uses this pier. And perhaps the signage was left from a NCL cruise???
  13. Consider splitting your flights, fly into LAX and out of Long Beach… but you will be most likely flying SWA out of Long Beach.
  14. Port to LAX is 35 minutes, but count on at least an hour to get to your gate as traffic backs up at the airport. I think we were in the first group off a little after 7am. Line up at 6:15, if you really need to be the first off.
  15. I was going to bring my best friend on a cruise, but now I’m afraid he wouldn’t make it through the entire cruise.
  16. Plus rum runners for each of your checked bags. Oops, I wasn’t to mention those.
  17. Like everything on a full ship, act as early as possible. OR expect to stand in line with hopes of getting a spot. Bag the reviews, experience it for yourself... have a issue with the hardness, talk to your steward. Getting off the ship is as easy as walking. Unless for some reason you are ending up with a tender port.
  18. Henry is getting very expensive. He is very cute, but come on the price is getting insane.
  19. Yes, the cost of cruising has gone up over time. As have wages. (Hopefully) While cruises have risen quite a bit recently, new massive ships are coming. We likely will see prices decline on older ships in the next two years. Got to get pent up demand fulfilled
  20. Not to belabor the point, but my wife said; "The only good part about this duo is that they are very thin".
  21. The singers on this ship can actually sing the songs they are given. Which is a rarity on cruise ships. Rock/Opera(Yes, I inserted a slash) had great singing, good dancing, and of course, no real story line. The "Opera" part was cut into the middle of the soft rock, basically not working with the rest. The pre-show music was Guns and Roses, but the show was "soft rock". With one reasonably good attempt at actual rock. The Emerald band was good as most ship bands. The Party Band was the same. Pacho and Olivia were the worst thing on four legs. The Guitarist, Piano player and strings were fine. The comedians Oscar Carlos and "the other guy" were good.
