Sorry you’re still tiring so easily. Do you have any other symptoms? You’ll probably be very tired when you get home tomorrow night, but it sounds like you have a good caretaker!

Love the shirt, this one would’ve been my pick too. Andy is also a fan of TB, but he’s not tall so the shirts really don’t work for him. He does love the shorts and has a couple of swimsuits too.

Being on her own and not knowing what to do or where to go must be so hard for Elaine. I’m sure she very much appreciates having some connection there on the ship, even if you’re not with her all the time. What kind and caring people you & Linda are.

A while back when I was having similar issues, someone suggested clearing the cache(?) or clearing the cookies(?) from my phone and it worked. In fact I had to do this the other day too.

I finally called RC back today about adding one DBP and one Refreshment Package. As you all predicted, different rep = different result. The guy I spoke with today was able to do it right away with no supervisor approval needed and without putting me on hold once. The entire thing took less than 5 minutes, including wait time to reach a representative. I’m a happy camper 🥂🍷🍸🍹☕️!

I’m just getting caught up from yesterday. @Luckynana Maryann I’m so sorry about Jim’s gallbladder issue. Certainly not the trip you expecting! It sounds like he received great medical care and I’m glad he’s feeling better. Looks like you need to book another cruise to make up for this one 😉!

Oh my gosh how frightening that must’ve been! Thank goodness it wasn’t what you thought, but still very dangerous with the stampeding crowd.

Thanks all! I figured calling again is worth a shot, but maybe tomorrow when my annoyance has passed.

I’m a little annoyed with RC right now. Our last few cruises we’ve purchased drink packages once onboard. Andy doesn’t drink alcohol, but does love espressos, Diet Coke, virgin Pina Colada’s and an occasional Red Bull. Onboard, we’ve been able to purchase the DBP for me and Refreshment Pkg for him with no problem, but paying full price for both. I recently read some drink thread that mentioned doing this over the phone ahead of time and getting a discounted price. So I called today, the rep initially said, yes we can do this. Then she needed a supervisor to override, put me on hold for about 15 minutes and came back to say the can’t do it because no more changes can be made to our cruise planner (we sail 10/30). When I questioned this, the reason became “the drink packages are sold out”. Huh?? I replied that’s odd because I can go into the cruise planner right now and purchase DBP for both of us, so it’s clearly not sold out - seems more like you just don’t want to give it to me at the discounted price. She just kept giving me the company line so I gave up. I’m not sure it’s worth the aggravation of trying again, or just pay more onboard.

Very true. The experience & images of my Mom and Dad in their final days and minutes are in my brain, but that’s not how I remember them & think of them. Those difficult times rarely come to my mind, only the good times and like you Bonnie I think of them every single day. And still miss them. (20+ years for Mom, 2 1/2 for Dad)

I’m sorry you’re experiencing such pain but thankfully nothing’s broken! It will be wonderful if you can join us Dani. Have you checked hotel prices? I feel they bump them up a day or so before cruises depart. Mid-week and maybe a bit away from the port might find more reasonable rates.
