  1. Loved the 4x4 in Madeira. We have done it several times and it's always terrific!
  2. Time to end baking and breakfast. Cholesterol levels may drop. Or get your own hens…
  3. And then…what about that spray sunscreen that pollutes the air and goes on the pax next to the sprayer…and the deck and the lounger and the towels. my personal preference is to have a towel on the lounger, even if i am fully clothed and bundled up in the cold weather in the sun. The towel protects the lounger, the pax and then, when i get up to leave i put my towel in the dirty towel bin. Lounger can be refreshed with new towel for next user. as pointed out, many pax claim their lounger as personal property for the entire day, using such tools as books they have borrowed from the library aboard. Some pax even grease the palm of crew, who then place the books on the designated loungers when setting up the deck for the day, as early as 7 am.
  4. I have seen the “storm troopers” also appear after a pax vomited in the corridor. Hazmat outfits to clean up what could be a heavy load of another communicable something or other. Wise to do that.
  5. Promises promises….only as good as the results YIKES!!!!!
  6. Randy is part of deck six very far forward still glassed in for covid cases?
  7. Starlink is not without baggage. Just sayin
  8. I have stayed in the suites on deck 5 on the Spirit. The verandah view was not “disadvantaged”. The verandahs were the same size as other verandah suites, with the exception of the higher priced larger suites like the silvers, owners, royal etc. I like deck 5 because it is close to the water and the midship suites are more stable in rough weather.
  9. RR From your posts, it does sound as if Silversea is not a fit for you at all. But just curious, what line do you think fits you?
  10. Here in sunny south Florida it is 44 degrees F. It is really cold.

And for gosh sakes don’t drink any alcohol right before your class. The knives they provide you are very sharp! Most of the mis en place prep is done for you…and at your station once you arrive.
  12. I always try to pack jpesque. Sadly I stumble. Not necessarily a bad thing if I don't fall. Just a lotta luggage.
