  1. As mentioned. Cancel the father. That will keep you in the room for 4 guests and you will not lose anything by cancelling him. His fare will just be taken off. Then have the baby be a no show at the pier and you will get the taxes back. You wont be out a thing.
  2. Yes, they have oversold gty cabins. ask for those booked if they can go on a different sailing
  3. If anything I would say status could work against you. Say they have 2 cabins left and 2 guarantees to fill, one cabin is great midship location and the other is an obstructed view.. One is a new cruiser and the other is Diamond. Who do they want to impress to get them back sailing a second time with Royal and who do they know that they have already won their loyalty and will cruise again regardless of room assignment.
  4. As you said you have until 61 days prior to your cruise to get a 50% refund. They will first issue a 100% refund for port fees and taxes as well as prepaid gratuities if those were added. You will then get a 50% refund on the cruise fare. There are no other options other than trying to file a claim with the insurance that you purchased.
  5. The upgrade price is the difference between what you paid and what the current price is on the website. No need to call.
  6. A lot of people make the mistake of trying to check in from the main page on the app. You need to select the person and then check in from that screen
  7. All of Royals % off savings are off some imaginary number that no one ever books at
  8. Correct. If they aren't listed you can't book them.
  9. All of the things that you mention except for #3 can be done by calling in to book.
  10. Accepted Identification for U.S. Citizens U.S. Passport book that is valid at least 6 months after your cruise ends. A U.S. Passport book is required for sailings that depart from homeports outside of the U.S.. For sailings departing from U.S. homeports, an official US state-issued Birth Certificate is also accepted. Guests age 16 and older that present an official US state-issued Birth Certificate will also need to provide a valid Driver’s License or picture ID issued by the government.
  11. Makes you want to keep checking when the rest of those are released and hope there are other great rates
  12. It was only a test load. It goes up and then they take it down. they don't expect anyone to be booking it. Probably an error...hope they honour it. It will be released either this week or very early next week along with all the other NV sailings along with the other short sailings
  13. I booked a 2 bedroom GS for a client this morning, Cheaper than getting 2 balconies.
  14. make sure you are off early. It's a CF getting a taxi
  15. Master bedroom hold 2 second bedroom has a king that can be slit into 2 twins plus 2 pullmans Living room has a sofabed that sleeps 2 Technically it sleeps 8, just not comfortably
  16. Just priced out 2 connecting balconies on Navigator and it was $500 cheaper to get the 2 bedroom GS
  17. It is up to the ship on how to handle refunds of port fees of the ship misses a port. In many cases they don't and if they decide that they will not refund yours. What they do for one they do for all
  18. As long as it is before Royal's final payment date it does not matter of you are paid in full. I've taken advantage of many price drops for clients after they paid in full, money just gets refunded to your card
  19. Yes Allure short PC I only searched Oct 24 through April 25 so I missed it
