It all depends on the promo. The C&A balcony discount is combinable with the base promo of 30$ off every guest or 60% off second or whatever other fake sale they are running. It is not combinable with their secondary sales that offer "instant savings" or "on board credit" You get the higher of the 2 offers. Since you are still at Emerald most of the secondary sales will have a higher offer value than your balcony discount.

It depends. If you booked before March 31, 2022 and sail by Sept 30, 2022 then you can get price drops up to 48 hours of sailing. If you booked after March 31, 2022 or sail after Sept 30, 2022 then no price drops after final

Those stars and squares no longer tell you if it is a sofa bed or a pull[man. They changed about 3 years ago and now the Triangles identify a cabin for triple occupancy and the Star is quad occupancy while a square with 5+ inside is used for those that hold 5. Correct, TA's can't see a room before the guest in the app. They are fed from the same field so we see them at the same time

Not letting you know the room number prevents a couple possibilities - you switching to a different room - you getting a price drop (CWC) on the newly assigned catgeory

Royals site has never shown every available room. I am a TA and have access to the booking site that shows more cabins than Royals site yet even it will not show cabins that Revenue has held back for various reasons

There are pretty much always rooms available that are not listed on the website

If they did it was a mistake and they are probably keeping quiet
