  1. You can request for the used dishes to be picked up on the TV (didn't check for that on the app). They come surprisingly fast.
  2. Only if they check... Ya should have let her "come on in". You missed out on a great teaching moment.🤣
  3. At that point, I can click "cancel" and it allows me to log in with email & password. Weird, right? Works for some, not for others.
  4. Hmmm. Cancel worked for me. Maybe, you used one of the CC #s that generated when you tried to fill out that stupid "your account is missing some info" form.
  5. I bow to your experience. Don't like pizza, so never ordered it. Altho' I was sure that I read in the past that it was $3 for delivery, not per pizza. 🤷‍♀️
  6. Go to "web version". Enter name, DOB, booking #. Choose cancel when it offers to "link".
  7. I was told they'd delete the OLD number. Didn't matter. Nothing changed.
  8. Lots of shelves in the small cupboard. Also, drawers in the vanities and at the desk. Depending on the cabin category, storage can be enough for a round the world cruise (suites) or a shorter cruise. We did 43 days in an inside & had no trouble finding a place to put everything.
  9. My closet story...I was getting dressed in the closet area. Had bra & panties on. One quick knock on the door and it opened. It was the steward. He didn't even wait 5 seconds after he knocked. Guess how much his extra gratuity was.
  10. That's what I miss. I'm always on the lookout to save $$. DH says that I'll push you out of the way to pick up a penny on the sidewalk. Don't think I'd actually push...
  11. Princess does a lot of things really well. It helps those of us who cruise on Princess to put up with the glitches & errors. Crew is almost always great. Food is good to excellent. Benefits are really nice (shareholders, military). OBC is stackable (we've had as much as $1100 in OBC). Entertainment is mostly OK. Shows on the TV are free (lots of movies, news, The Love Boat 😉). Our first cruise was on Princess, never looked back. DH always says "we're home", when we get on a ship.
  12. I'd give it one (maybe 2) more days. If no answer in that time frame, get a different one.
  13. The "real" butter (the stuff that's not wrapped) tastes terrible. I eat my dinner rolls without it.
  14. Do it all the time. We have both and when we have a lot of OBC, we spend time at a slot machine trying make it grow. Win some, lose some...we consider it "play" $$ and don't care.
  15. Note: everything (with the exception of the expensive jewelry (I think) goes automagically to your onboard account. Uses non-refundable first. When (if) you run out of non-refundable, it will take your refundable. When (if) you run out of OBC, it will go to your credit card. Cash really isn't required, unless you want to give extra $$ to the crew as tips.
  16. I wouldn't fight with Princess, just move up a little in category just to get rid of the FCCs.
  17. Free: most of the food - sandwiches, various desserts (cookies, cake), salads, chili Cost: pizza (a fee of $3.00 (? never actually ordered it, so not sure) for as many as you want to order...i.e. 2 pizzas is a total of $3). Individual items from the specialty restaurants cost $. If you order a full meal that's available in a specialty restaurant, it would cost more than if you went to the restaurant. Some things that can be ordered from room service aren't on the app. I noticed on our April cruise that regular coffee and tea were not there, only the for a fee specialty coffee/tea. Had to phone room service to get it. You'll also get a door hang tag in your cabin that you can fill out the night before to order breakfast for the next morning (almost everything on the hang tag is free). We don't drink and are Elite, so we get a mini-bar that we exchange for 2 coffee "cards". That's all we need. We pay for internet which has a 50% discount for us and pay for our own gratuities. Costs us less than one of the upgraded packages. Almost all the food everywhere on the ship if included in the cost of the cruise. You literally don't have to spend any $$, if you don't want to. We usually do a specialty restaurant at least once on every cruise, but that's about it for any food expenses. Have fun!!
  18. All you can do is ask. If you're not picky about the time, they may be able to fit you in.
  19. I found a way to use a back door. Go to Princess, but do not attempt to log in. Click on web-based app. Log in there using name, DOB, booking #. Look for your Captain Circle # (can't remember exactly where I found it). Is it the same one on your booking confirmation? DH's has changed. I tried chat, email to Medallion folks and calling the regular CSRs. Nothing fixed. @Steelers36 says to call Princess and choose the "talk to Medallion" fixers. That's my next attempt.
  20. Apparently, from what others have posted...every time you enter the info as requested, you create a new Captain Circle account. I think that's what happened to DH's account. He had at least 2 numbers. Try this: Go to the Princess log in page (but do not log in). Up at the top, click on "Booked Guests". Enter name, DOB and booking #. That should get you to one specific cruise. Use the link for the web-based version of the app to do most (but not all) of the things you can do on the app. Look for errors, i.e. wrong DOB, address, different Captain Circle #. Try to correct what you can. @Steelers36 says next step is to call and use the phone tree to talk to Medallion fixers. That one is the next on my list (DH is in the same wormhole as you & of course that means it's my responsibility to fix it 🤣).
  21. It extends the length of the shower. BTW: @Muffinz laundry room is paid for on your shipboard account. Get tokens from the machine (if it's broken try a different laundry room or go to guest svcs). Sometimes, if their broken there have been reports that there was a dish with tokens for taking (essentially making it free). @Lizabu had different prices than I remember. It's been a long time since I last used the laundry room. You can bring your own pods, powder, etc and only pay for the wash/dry. The machines generally take 45 minutes eah and there is usually a notice on the wall with the times. I found that checking the machine before putting $$ in would sometimes get me a free wash or dry. 😉
  22. DH has been unable to get into his Personalizer by simply logging in. Have to use name & booking #. I had an idea that maybe if I changed the password that would fix it. Went into the web-based app and worked around to get to "change password". Did it and still get the message that "we need further information". Nope!! Been there, done that. Chat - no help email to Medallion folks - no help since May (3 emails to them, nothing back) Phone Princess - after a long hold while the rep consulted someone, she declared it was fixed and it's not. Any ideas @Steelers36?
  23. According to my CVP, they can't give the discount for internet in the program where they book it for us. He said to get OBC on board...🤞
