  1. That's not an international rule...what are the rules for lotteries in the country in which the ship is registered...that's the question. I think.
  2. I got email notifications on the email that I use the most and then they simply stopped. No idea why. I contacted CC and had them change my email notifications to a different email account and they came back. If it happens again, I'll switch again. Give that a try.😇
  3. Sometimes. But again, ask on your roll call to find out if anyone on your particular cruise got an upgrade.
  4. I wonder how Princess follows that demand for canned water...the bottled water on the ship in April was still in plastic. They aren't practicing what they preach.🤷‍♀️

  6. Buy 100 shares of Carnival stock...same OBC as the military benefit.
  7. There are 3 or 4 other hotels in the area...some not very close (Best Western), some not as nice as CP or DT. Our preference is Double Tree.
  8. That happened to us on the Ruby in San Pedro (pre-Covid). The doors were closed and alarmed. We opened the door, alarm sounded and a crew member immediately popped out and told us we couldn't come in yet.
  9. It depends on the ship and the port for how soon the cabins are ready. Usually our luggage was delivered around the same time as the muster drill (pre-Covid). Now...who knows? We don't drop off our luggage anymore. A suitcase and 2 backpacks and we're good.
  10. Book a full suite. If your wheel chair is collapsible, you're good to go. We've been in one suite and there was room for 3 or 4 wheelchairs.
  11. Sent email to Medallion "experts" in May re: problems with our acconts...reversed DOB (he has mine, I have his), they gave me his middle name (I don't have one), plus many more errors. Then they did upgrades to the medallion & the web version. No longer able to log in for either of us on the app or the web version. Before this, I was able to log me in on the web version (using his DOB) and managed to get us into the green lane and make MDR res. Now, I don't know what else is messed up since we can't log in at all. Emailed again a couple of hours ago and already got a (sort of) response: "I have checked in with the tech department concerning your ticket. I am still awaiting a response. When they reach out to me, I will forward the information to you and resolve your issue. We appreciate your patience."
  12. I've never used the form. Simply write the mandatory information directly on the brokerage statement. I've done this for as many as 3 cruises on one statement.
  13. Leave the "free" bottles in your cabin and pour the contents into a suitable container: thermos, water pitcher, wine glass...tennis shoe.
  14. EVERONE has been exposed to covid, unless they never leave the house.
  15. Even though you've uploaded "everything else", you need to bring all of it with you. From our experience boarding in April...no one looked at our app info. Instead, they checked our paperwork: passport, vax status, etc. Have your paperwork in your hand by the time you get to the front of the line.

  17. Correct. If you call the CSR can look up your account and tell you if it's in the works.
  18. Thanks for waiting on hold and getting some info about this issue. DH has the same problem. My account is fine, at least I can check our booked cruise in my account (so far).
  19. We didn't even get it offered. Didn't care due to past experience with the "bubbly" stuff they pass out for minis, we weren't interested so didn't ask.
