  1. Our preferred area...never noticed much noise. Maybe, a little chair scraping, but not at 3AM...usually around 5 or so. We're often up & about between 4 & 5 and there are very few crew members working in that area that early.
  2. Correct. Walked on it once. Looked down at the ocean. One & done.
  3. How can I edit DH's profile when it won't let me sign in in the first place?
  4. DH has a problem using the web version...since an update on the web, he can't log in. The web site insists he's missing important info...like his name, address, DOB, etc. When we fill in the info, all that happens is (wait for it!!) nothing.
  5. The problem is from whom Princess was requesting payment. "Hey! You're aunt got sick. Too bad. Pay us for your aunt's treatment". Different cabins. Different bookings. Separate money. How does the OP convince the aunt's insurance to reimburse her?
  6. Jan Swartz is Carnival #1 (I think) John Padgett is Princess #1 If I've got that wrong, someone will correct me. πŸ˜‰
  7. @Megabear2 may I suggest that you send emails to Jan Swartz and the Padgett guy (can't remember his first name...John?). You might get a faster response.
  8. Heart? Lungs? Ostructive Sleep Apnea? If it's not heart or lungs, get him tested for OSA. Simple treatment for that one.
  9. We had a Premium suite (so not exactly comparable, since we had a teeny tiny balcony), there was a coffee table in front of the couch that we used to eat a few times (including afternoon tea). Not really any room for a dining type table without removing some furniture.
  10. The packages aren't cost effective for us: one tea total and one who drinks a couple of Dirty Bananas over the length of the cruise. Elite, so internet is cheap. OBCs are usually enough to pay grats and a few extras.
  11. Did you request any of the missing items from your steward? I could have been a steward failure, rather than a cut-back. That was the issue we had on Discovery in April...missing items appeared after we requested them.
  12. The coupon book with the bottle of wine is something that TAs (& maybe PVPs) give. I've gotten one many times from the TA that I usually use. Not interested in a bottle of plonk. The books used to have a BOGO dinner coupon for 1st night and a coupon for the large bottle of water. Took advantage of those. Nothing else in the books has any value for me.
  13. Thanks for that info. I never would have expected your primary to pay anything. Glad they did, 'cuz that's our primary insurance as well.
  14. Are you sure that was on a Princess ship? 2 dinners with little tags to tear off? Never seen anyone posting about this type of "gift".
  15. Our experience with "this booking already claimed"...one of the updates deleted DH's history. According to the app, he's never cruised on Princess, all his saved info disappeared, his security pix gone, etc. Contacted the "experts" and they fixed some of it, but not all. He's still a newbie and can't log in on the app (gets the already claimed notice). When I log in and switch to his account, his security photo is there. If I look at a different section and go back to the security photo...it's gone. Definitely something is broken and doubt they'll ever get it fixed.
  16. I've used it and they do dry. Usually, overnight.
  17. I do...but I don't wear lacy stuff...strictly grannies.
  18. I find more answers here.πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“
  19. We've stayed at Crowne Plaza. Didn't like it for multiple reasons. Usually stay at DoubleTree. There's a shuttle that will take you around in a 6 mile radius (IIRC), a restaurant and the shuttle takes you to the port and picks you up again (if you're staying post cruise). Never had a problem at DT and often get an upgraded room at no charge.
  20. We've used PrimeTime (SuperShuttle does the same, but never used them) to get from our home to LAX & LAX to home. Don't book the multi-stop van, book the private cars. They're very nice (usually a Town Car). The driver loads your luggage & usually provides bottled water. Drops off at the appropriate terminal and picks you up at the appropriate terminal (altho' one time the driver couldn't find it and we had to find him - total FUBAR). They keep in touch with you by cell phone with ETA, get your description and where you're standing. The best part is it usually only costs $20-30 more than the shuttle van. Well worth it.
  21. You just don't SEE that food being thrown out. There is almost always more prepared than is eaten.
  22. But, not if the item is on sale...bummer. I πŸ’ stacking sale discounts.
  23. Who knows? Although, both medallions together was/is the norm for us...we're always together (especially on the ship).
