I received email -not snail mail - for the signature Oasis Oct. 21 cruise today. Already booked on Allure one week later - casino event - from FLL. Had not yet booked airfare for the FLL cruise so I need to make a decision... thinking about trying to go from Port Canaveral to FLL... Oasis comes into Port Canaveral same day Allure goes out from FLL.
We've done it.

I was just told by a rep, that if both you and your partner have the same tier, that you can put them together to get the next level room. Specifically, she said that since we are both primes, we can use the 18tier3 offer together and get a free ocean view (instead of individual inside staterooms).

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

Yes it's correct, mum and I (finally) managed to book our prime level freebie, we combined our freebies same as we do the casino certs and got an ocean view, then upgraded to balcony for a little bit more.

I have a Royal credit from a cruise I wasn’t able to take. (75% cancel for any reason). Anyone have success using this type of credit when making final payment with Casino Royale? The letter states to contact your travel agent to use the credit. But . . . I don’t have a travel agent. Katherine

Not a bad site, appears up to date. Got off the Mariner on Friday and already has the offer listed.

On another note for the people on the Mariner last week and the discussion about beer cost at the base ball game, it was 12 dollars or 14 dollars for a beer however they were 25oz cans. What surprised us were the 10 dollar hot dogs. But it was a good game.

We were also on the Mariner July23-27 with that Baseball casino group & went to the game Friday nite with the free tickets they gave us on the ship. The seats were in an a/c suite with free beer, wine & food served for all. Didnt know till we got there that it would be a suite for the cruise guests!!

You can do it, it will be about 3 hrs to get to FT L. Weekend traffic is not bad. Try to get or exchange to a low lugg tag #. I keep on asking them about the priority debarkation for diamond plus. but it never happens. Also you can get your free laundry on the ships. Where do you live in Chicago? My husband is from the south side, then Skokie. We lived in Palatine for a long time, till we moved to FL. 14 yrs ago.

I am currently planning to do to both cruises. Renting a car after 1st cruise, dropping it off at FLL then taking a cab to Port Everglades. If I lived in FLL I would not need to factor in airfares.

If you rent from Avis they have a rental counter at the Pier 66 Hotel & Marina located on 17th street with a cruise port shuttle van service. It will save you from driving back to the FLL airport and having to taxi or Uber to the pier.

Thank you for the suggestion. I just called them and they no longer have a shuttle to take people to / from the pier. The person I spoke with suggested I call the Miami Road location.

That's good to know. The Miami Road location is also close to the pier and I believe is listed as the port location for Avis on their website. Their location code is QF1.

That's interesting that Avis moved the QF1 location code. I checked my past email confirmations to make sure I wasn't misremembering, and indeed it used to be the location on 17th Street.
That hotel changed ownership recently, so it's possible they just took the car rental out or changed to another brand.

thanks. have not been able to reach a person to speak with at Miami Road location.

I’m not sure if you were looking at AVIS due to having points etc. But if not Budget has a location right on 17th in a strip mall that I have picked car up at airport and dropped off at this location with a shuttle to port. The location is in a strip mall beside The Renaissance. Seamless other than finding the location as we weren’t looking for it t be in a strip mall.

Hi

Dropping off at Ft Lauderdale airport and taking a cab to the pier is pretty quick and easy too.

We just did that in April.
