St. Maarten for a bit of everything (land tours, water sports, beach, food)

Grand Turk for beach and complimentary chaise/chairs and pool at margarhitaville

Grand Cayman for shopping, beach and water sports, my most favorite shore excursion ever is stingray city here

Aruba has everything, always a trade wind breeze and never felt hot in July (we take land vacations here) and the best dining/restaurants are here, water sports are excellent, the best people, no haggling no venders begging to buy their items or people begging for hair braiding, never found here and totally safe island overall.

So far, my favorite has been St. Thomas. Love the "mountain in the ocean" feel and just a beautiful place overall.

Puerto Rico is probably a close second. Loved the forts, the history and the overall friendly feel. Not to mention excellent food and RUM!:p

St. Barths - beautiful uncrowded island, magnificent beaches, top notch food, and it is uncrowded.

and

Jost van Dyke - if you haven't been there you have no idea what you are missing.

Our favorites are Curacao and Aruba.

Curacao has a nice walking city- Willemstad- with lots of beautiful buildings and historic areas. (We like Fort Nassau- above the city- which is also a restaurant.) Curacao also has many cove beaches which have good snorkeling.

We like Aruba's Palm Beach- the beach is great. It is a high rise area, but some of the hotels have day passes and that is fun. Aruba is a good place for a tour of the wild areas.
