Specific FLL hotel question

Honeymooners debark in Miami - they are flying home the next day from FLL. I've got them on the QLS shuttle and they will drop off at a hotel within 3 miles of FLL. Looks like most of the hotels that 'qualify' are south of the airport in the Dania area. I'm trying to find a hotel with a pool, cocktail service would be great, within walking distance of a restaurant and shuttle to airport. Does such a hotel exist? They are early twenties eeking one more day of their honeymoon ;)

Try Hilton Garden in Dania. Not sure if all of your criteria are met but I know some are.

We stayed at the Cambria suites it was fine not too many restaurant within walking distance

Other option is to take QLS to FLL airport then get the hotel shuttle or a taxi to a hotel not on their list

 

Hyatt Place 17th st has what they need & free airport shuttle

Boy you've got me wracking my brain for the nearest hotel to FLL that has a full bar.

 

Crowne Plaza FLL does, but it is north of the airport on US1 (definitely less than 3 miles).

 

Just south of the airport my first thought is the Courtyard Airport/Cruiseport which is next to the Bass Pro Shops/Outdoor World complex that has a busy bar and a nice but overpriced restaurant with outdoor seating.

 

(addendum: just double checked and the Courtyard does have a full bar as well as pool and free shuttle; just not much else in walking distance other than the above)

Thanks for your replies - here is the list on the QLS site. I also really want to confirm which hotels to NOT go to - BlueHerons, you've given some great advice in your posts - I don't want to reserve a spot for the newlyweds that is dangerous.

My vote is the last one on your list, Crowne Plaza on 84. Nice hotel, bar and restaurant and also a very nice pool/patio area on the fifth floor. And they also have airport shuttles.

I agree that the Crown Plaza would be the nicest one for them.

 

Also, just around the corner from the hotel is 17th Street which has a ton of restaurant options.

I would also suggest Crowne Plaza.

 

If that isn't available, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place, or Hyatt House (all on the same block in Dania) would be my second choice equally. I'm not sure if any of these have cocktail service though.

In addition to the above, I'm pretty certain that they don't have an airport shuttle.
