Thank you so much for posting this! I just called and got our June Alaska cruise rebooked under this new Bonus Offer, and we saved over a thousand dollars! This new Bonus Offer (combined with the Twice as Nice sale that we were booked under) saves us $558 in gratuities for four of us and another $600 saved in the re-fare with today's rates. This offer is only good for the next two weeks so people should check and see if they qualify to get this great deal! Princess sure has some great promo's!

I'm not seeing this on the Princess site. How is it listed?

 

Of course I highly doubt it would apply to our June Alaska cruise. It's been sold out for quite some time.

 

Note: Oh, it's a listing that's been added to the Twice as Nice. You just have to click on the banner to see it.

I just checked the two May 21st Alaska sailings that I can see (one is on the Crown and the other is on the Star) and neither one shows this Bonus Offer. You click on "View Offers" which is printed in blue underneath the cabin fares. So it appears that the May 21st Alaska cruises don't qualify for this Bonus Offer, just the Twice as Nice/Double OBC promo. Someone else mentioned a June Alaska cruise - I would check that one because ours is in June.

When I called for my July cruise on the Crown I gave them code NY2 - and initially she said it wasn't applicable for obstructed views but did some checking and it turns out that it did work. I checked my personalizer and the change is there and the gratuities are marked paid. win/win!

Well that's a bummer, but at least I don't feel crazy anymore - I looked just about everywhere on the site and attempted to read the teeny tiny print for the 2x Nice promo to see if they stuck it in there somewhere.....so thanks for the reply and info, I can stop looking - at least for now.....:)

This is probably for new bookings only...? Probably can't get this if already booked and paid, do you think?

 

 

Princess Final Payment date is all that matters , not when you may have paid in full in advance .

Seems some are getting their bookings re-fared $$$$$$$[emoji1]

I have no luck with this kind of thing...I obviously made the mistake of paying in full early(full payment was not due until 2/6) and am told by Princess that to refare this "promotion," I would be charged $800+ plus lose my airfare (even though flights would remain the same)...so another lesson learned.

 

I just don't understand how it's the luck of the draw of who you talk to at Princess as to getting a break...or NOT!

The first email was directed to my son.

The second email had no name on it.

When I called to take advantage of it for a new booking PC cruise I was not eligible. My son and I are both Elite and have the same zip code. Go figure. :rolleyes:

Thanks for encouragement! Now I'm told it says New Bookings Only - which I do see on the posting. 0 for 2!

After figuring out how to pull up the 'select cruise sailings' on the Princess website, it appears to be inside passage cruises on the Ruby and Crown. Dates beginning in July, thru Sept.

 

We called our TA, to try for our cruise on the Coral... No luck.
