I sent Carnival the same TD Ameratrade info I have sent over the years for the share holders OBC. Now because the stock info is on two sheets and the second sheet does not have my name on it only the account number they are not accepting it. The second sheet shows CCL 100 shares and the value of them. They are the ones that told me to block out the account number before sending it in.

So I just resent them the same information leaving the last 4 digits of the account number not blocked out on both sheets. I also circled the amount on bolt sheets showing the same exact amount. The first sheet includes my mane and full information the second shows my account number and CCL and the amount of stock and what it is worth today. The pages are numbered at the bottom 1of2 and 2of2 duh!

We will see what happens.

No problems with princess accepting the same one.

Trying to print that tdameritrade statement is a nightmare.  I didn’t even try sending it in because i thought the same thing about the names not being on it.  So I bugged tdameritrade and they wrote me a letter stating we had the shares.  Lol.  Carnival is still accepting that letter from like 6 months ago.  Weird if you ask me.  At first the tdameritrade guy was like just print out the statement.  I told him the statement was vague and I couldn’t get my printer to print it out correctly anyway.  Always something cut off with their weird sideways format.  I think I went through an entire ink cartridge printing it incorrectly.  I told them they should just take a more basic approach to the statement format.  He said, I’ll just get you a letter.  Lol.

My E*Trade acct statement is the same.  I simply include the first page that shows the acct number and my name/address (black out everything else) along with the page that shows my CCL shares with the acct # highlighted so they can see it's the same account, which is owned by me.  Never had any problem with it being accepted.  I'll send in my statement at the beginning of September for my October sailing and see what happens.

"The onboard credit is available exclusively to shareholders holding a minimum of 100 shares of Carnival Corporation or Carnival Plc. Employees, travel agents cruising at travel agent rates, tour conductors or anyone cruising on a reduced-rate or complimentary pass are excluded from this offer."

So do I have to purchase my cruise directly from Carnival or can I get a better price from say Cruise.Com and still get the OBC?

You can purchase from a TA and receive the OBC.  Carnival offers some greatly reduced rates to Casino centric passengers.  They would not qualify for a shareholder OBC.

Unless you are related to Office staff, or are Office staff, or are a travel agent using travel agent rates or (possibly) are using casino rates you cannot access a "reduced rate"  for your cruise.

Regardless of any special rate offered by Carnival or a Travel Agent (exceptions noted above) you will be purchasing an advertised "retail" rate for your cruise.

Ok already have 100 shares now . With this current low stock cost I was looking to buy another 200 for future gain.

But my question is would I now get $300 OBC instead of $100 for a 7 day sailings with 300 shares ?

No you will not. It's stated on the Carnival website. No matter if you hold 100 shares or 1,000 shares you still get the same $100 credit for a 7 day cruise.

Thanks!

glad to help. One last thing, I copied my info and turned it into a pdf file and sent the pdf file as an attachment to the email.  Email cover was just an explanation of the attachment (booking #, sail date; no stock stuff; stock info was in pdf.

Just tried emailing my shareholders form to them and the email was rejected.
Yet I sent it to what they said to send it to:
shareholder@carnival.com

Anyone else have another email? or have the same issue?

Thanks. Still a bit too early to apply for mine for my 14 day. I thought it was $250 obc, sweet. That will buy a few extras.

I emailed them last week with my statement and the booking numbers for my June 2023, Dece 2023, and June 2024 cruises - they've applied the shareholder benefit to all 3 already.
