"Search" function not working?

Is anyone else having problems using the "search" function? I've tried last night and this morning. I've tried to search a board and a thread, and even the main forum. I keep getting an error message. :mad::eek::confused:

NOt crazy about new format. I have found when you go to post it takes a while for the post to show up. Bring back old format!!!!!!! Where things work right!!!!!

Little is working.

 

Last poster not showing. Threads not moving up when someone posts.

 

Number of replies not showing and posts go into never ever land for a few minutes (if not longer).

The Search engine is throwing an error. Since the error is server-side, it is probably not related to the new face for the forums. Also, if that error is due to a system resource problem, that'll also explain why the forum lists aren't getting updated when someone posts. (And again, being server-side, that's probably not related to the new face for the forums.)

I'm trying to post here to see if it will work. I posted on two threads around 8 AM (9:30 now) and got an error message, and the posts never appeared. There are about 8 posts in this thread, but the main listing indicates only the first one.

I made a couple of posts last night and when I hit "Submit Reply" the screen went blank. When I closed that, reopened Cruise Critic and went back to the thread, my post was there - just not showing up on the main list of threads.:confused:

In the poll that they took, the vote was about 8 to 1 against the new format. It didn't matter - the old is not coming back. :(

And, if you click on the Quick Reply button, you quote that post. If you erase the quote then the space bar doesn't work.

Looks like Search KIND OF working again ... it finds years old posts, but not some recent ones.
