Thank you for your updates on Infinity and Summit.

 

Summit entertainment was mostly not as listed during the 6/27 - 7/8 Independence Day cruise. Linda Capewell and Peter Rossetti were as listed, but the lounge band was Dancing Town, the house band was Shine, DJ was Annett, singing duo was Hanna and George, and string duo was Emotions Duo.

 

Master, Staff Captain, CD, Hotel Director, GR Manager, F&B Manager, and Exec Chef were all as listed. Can't speak to CC Host, Michael's, Suite Mgr. or production shows.

I suspect you didn't realize that Arno, who maintains this helpful chart, was also on the Summit during the Independence Day cruise. But it was a lovely cruise with an interesting itinerary.

Info below from the June 30th sailing of Celebrity Equinox. At the end of July, Maarten will be taking some time off before joining Edge and Damian De Lorenzis will be taking over for him as CD. Damian was our CD when we cruised Equinox in 2012 and was great! Whole crew was wonderful and seemed to be extra friendly and in high spirits on the voyage.

Correct Captain Kate moved to Equinox. She is on vacation right now. You can check out her posts on Instagram. She advises folks there of her work and pleasure schedules.

The current cruise director Dan France said he is going on vacation September 2nd. So assuming Patrick is coming back to Summit he should return on September 2nd. Of course nothing is 100% until the person arrives on the ship. Schedules can change last minute.

Yes, we sailed with her a couple weeks ago. It was the first time since Celebrity started offering drink packages that we didn't have one, so therefore ..... we spent a lot of time at the Elite cocktail event ; ) and had a chance to get to know her. She is from Mexico and is very sweet and welcoming.

This Alaska Solstice trip was last minute for us. We booked an "Exiting Deals" and while we enjoy having all the perks, it was a great cruise and we found out spending more $$ isn't always necessary!

We had the same experience on Solstive in late June. We loved Paulina, the CC Hostess. She was so warm and friendly with a perky personality and genuine interest in getting to know you. She represents Celebrity well. We also booked late. We had a guarantee and were given a nice cabin. We attended the Elite cocktail hours and elite breakfasts and enjoyed them very much. The cruise was wonderful—great ports, delicious food in the dining room, Oceanview cafe, and specialty restaurants, good entertainment, super crew, wonderful captain. Cruise Director wasn’t very visible other than introducing entertainers, which was not usual. :)
