Who is your favorite cruise director past or present?

None of them. They are constantly yelling into the microphones, and disturbing everyone on the ship. I wish they would do away with the position.

Dr. E. I have only experienced 5 cruise directors...one of them was my first cruise which I was so blind to what was happening I didn't even know what a cruise director was. But Dr. E blows them all away.

I never even really noticed them or bothered to remember their names. I don’t feel like they have any effect on my cruise experience. Maybe I’ve just never had a good one, who knows!

Several years ago we had "Shorty" on the Fantasy. She was my favorite of all time, followed her on FB after the cruise and she got a huge promotion and is no longer a CD.

Matt on the Vista. He's the best CD I have ever seen. He made everything fun and was as entertaining as a comedian. He was everywhere greeting people and making sure everyone was having a good time. Many times I never really pay too much attention to the CD, but it's very noticeable if you have one that is great or one that is not good at all.

We LOVED wee jimmy. Our fav so far. Recently enjoyed Mickey. We liked DR. E the first time, but when we had him again it just seemed like he does/ says the exact same thing and it gets old.

My current favorite is John Heald. I like his British wit and courtly manners.
