monakayk Posted November 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Is there an Adult area on Celebrity Infinity? Is it free & what deck is it on ? Thanks in advance .
Rare cruisestitch Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 The Solarium area is somewhat adults only except that children can eat at the Aqua Dpa cafe there and also that area can be made available to families for a few hours a day in inclement weather. The casino is adults only. The Sky Lounge can be made adults only and often is from about 10pm or 11 pm on.
jelayne Posted November 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2017 In our 18 cruises on Celebrity we have seen very few children. I am sure there are times of the year when there more that the 2dozen or so we have seen but there are not the things like kids pools, water slides, rock walls, mini-golf, flow riders that attract families with children. Rare DENIE Posted November 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2017 On our Infinity cruise in September 2018, there were NO kids observed in the "adults only" solarium - we spent a lot of time there. Overall, I think there were only a handful of kids on the ship, and most that we saw were very young, and not yet in school. Kids were not an issue on this cruise. As others have pointed out, they don't do the waterslides, go-karts, etc. that other lines use to attract them.
Alakegirl Posted November 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Some cruisesduring school holidays have many children but Celebrity does a good job with their Fun Factory keeping them engaged and out of sight. There are no outside areas for adults only. The Aqua Spa area is for adults but children 13 and up can be there if receivng spa services. The Solarium pool is for ages 16 and up except when the Captain chooses to create family hours. The casino is for ages 18 and up.

NordicPrince Posted November 7, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 7, 2017 2018? I hope you meant 16 or 17:D Isn't this fairly obvious and that every reader would immediately assume this, so what's the point of having to post a comment? In answer to the OP's original question. I had read that there were at some point in time restricted areas for adults only on the very upper deck during the European cruises, specifically so that women could sunbath topless if they wanted to. Don't want Little Johnny getting an unanticipated education do we? All the rest about the Solarium is true. Enjoy your cruising days.

Rare Texed Posted November 7, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) I put a smile there:).....sorry you took such offense to my comment:(.." It sure has changed a lot on here through the years Lois. We used to be able to have fun with each other. Now, folks get upset pretty easily. :) Can you imagine how many folks NEWTOCC would make mad now? :) Edited November 7, 2017 by Texed

My post had no malice behind it (as you probably know)........but I guess it upset the poster anyway. I honestly thought maybe they didn't realize the date was off...... Brought back a funny memory..one such designated area was right next to the little children's pool up there... When the error was reported it was sure moved in a hurry....
