Never tried water skiing. Not popular round here. Weather is usually damp and driech.

Jet ski's are getting more and more

Love jet skis too. Very popular here except areas are very limited to use and getting more limited. Even though they have no prop, manatees have run them out in many areas of water.

Close House and Slaley Hall championship golf courses are within 30 minutes of us.

Played Slaley a few times. Had yearly match with the Dukes. Johnny Wilkinson had a big house overlooking one of the holes. One time he come out with drinks for us. He was a nice lad

Changing the structure of levels would be an erosion of perks.

It is not my job to figure it out . That responsibility belongs to Royal.

We can speculate all we want but I am retired now, I do not need to stress over it.

Agree! And this QUEST is closed!;p

Don't they board based on appt and with an app now? That's what my cruise in May is doing. I am always on the boat during the first hour and that includes prior to any status.

They do send out those assigned times now but it also states that anyone from Platinum and above can arrive when they want.

Nah, Jw is a supermarket whiskey. We make the real stuff here

Not in Asia though, Diagio have their own bar at Park Royal, they mix and match the labels to the food being served.

Some nice West Coast Distilleries and a few new independent. Only just got back into whisky after many years absent.

Suntory takes its roots from the highlands.

Diagio is here in Leven and have another factory in Kilmarnock.

Should try and do the whiskey trail sometime.

So what would you recommend? My boyfriend is a fan of single malt and we will be in Scotland at he end of August.

I don't really like whiskey. I drink vodka.

However, whiskey is a personal thing. I think when you come in August he will have a lot of tasting to do.

He can make his choice. A bit like wine, lots of choice.

Highland Park, Laphroaig, Macallan, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie and many more

Haig had a factory here but was taken over by Diagio

All I can advise, have fun finding the best one.

Glenmorange

Glenmorangie is a good one.

I've been to the distillery. My son was playing in a golf competition at Royal Dornoch and I had a run down to Tain with a few other dads. Interesting seeing it being made.

I have been trying to get my hands on some Sheep Dip Scotch for a while.

Anyone know where it might be available?

Chris in Inuvik --> Who is still trying to decide whether to bring my kilt on my next cruise.
