Bill

I'm really enjoying your review of this trip. I don't know how you find the time to do this and read all those books you take. I'm looking forward to your photos and comments from Hong Kong.

I was there several times back in the 60's. That was a long time ago and I know it's changed a lot.

It's to bad you won't get to see the Tiger Balm Gardens. It was a beautiful place that was taken out several years ago for a hotel or something. What a shame, it was something to see.

One of the best meals I have ever had was at the Aberdeen Floating Restaurant in Hong Kong.

I think it may be gone too. If progress hasn't taken it out, I recommend it.

Enjoying your cruise almost as much as you and Marie are.

Paul

Sincere appreciation for all of your awesome photos and taking the time to provide a little narration! We have friends on this cruise and feel as though we are right there with you, also. Hope to book this or a similar itinerary in 2019.

Continue to enjoy your outstanding cruise! Learning so much from Cruise Critic.

So much to take in, in every picture. Does it seem overwhelming in person?
I know what you mean and yes. Especially places such as the Marble mountains where everything seems to go on and on. The pictures really do not do justice.

This is a great review. Such an interesting itinerary and your pictures are great. In some of them you were outside clothing shops, did you go in any of them? I’m curious to know how the pricing was.

Looking forward to more.

P.s. Marie is still adorable as always

I am adoring this review. Your photos are wonderful, I'd love to see this some time in my life!

Who knows, maybe some day. We never dreamed of cruising in Asia but here we are.

Sorry, there were many tailoring shops but we did not go in.

Marie says thank you

Beautiful photos Bill! :D

Thank you, much appreciated.

We had a Diamond Plus/Pinnacle lunch today in the American Icon dining room. An officer/staff member sat at each table. we were lucky enough to have Sarah who is the host/singer of the Pixels show. I didn't feel right taking pictures of the food but I did get some of the menu.

Wonderful lunch. Agree with Bill about the Cauliflower soup. I did take a couple of pictures. Pancetta wrapped stuffed chicken and yummy dessert sampler. Thought I had a pic of the Lamb but don't. Beautiful presentation and tasty too. We dined with Marko....the dance Captain.72208bb547c825eeaa4095103725b21d.jpgc366dd255b5b3f3b25b5add61937b09d.jpg

Recieved an email from Hong Kong Getaways that we are all set for our two tours tomorrow, 6 hours during the day and 4 hours in the evening. The tour company are two sisters. Mandy and Apple, our guide will be Apple. She is on the right.

Thanks, Bill! Again, amazing photos. I can't wait to hear how you like Hong Kong, one of my all-time favorite cities to visit. :)

I'm guessing the WJ was that empty because people were sleeping in after a busy day!
