$100 Carnival gift cards (email delivery) for $85 on eBay right now. These are sold by a division of PayPal and are legit.

Limit is 3 per account, this is a different listing than the sale last week so you should be able to buy more if you took part in the previous sale.

If you have a Chase Freedom credit card attached to your PayPal you get 5% cash back through the end of June.

There were 500 gift cards available during the sale last week (I'd assume this sale will be the same), so as you see the number sold creep up you'll know its getting closer to being sold out.

Note: Some reported during the last sale that you can only pay via Paypal and not directing with a credit card. If you do not have a Paypal account it is easy to set one up and you can attach a credit card to you account for payments.

Is there a way to apply these online through your booking or do you have to wait until you are on the ship to have it added to your account?

My TA uses them toward my balance ... I can use them to purchase cheers or can be placed on account on board.

You can apply them on the Carnival site just like making a payment. Just select Gift card for payment source.

I don't think you can apply them after making final paymnet, like for OBC. You have to take them with you to the port and apply them on the ship.

Ya that's our scenario, thanks!

You can pay for your cruise, taxes, gratuities, or apply for your S&S balance, or pay for excursions, spa, drink package, etc. I look at it as 10% off everything with the aarp cards, and this 15% off helps even more. I figure to save over $500 total.

I just wanted to chime in and give you a virtual HUG and say THANK YOU. I was one of the ones not able to take advantage last week and your post prompted an email to me this afternoon from Cruise Critic to notify me. I can't thank you enough right now. I was able to get the three cards this time without issue.

CHEERS,

Bethany

You can by Cruise Cash, it's then on your Sign and Sail account when you board. I found out though they only allow up to $500 in Cruise Cash to be applied. Persoanlly I won't use these for making my cruise payment as if I charge to my credit card travel insurance is provided at no cost. But you could also use it to pay for excursions, drink packages and spa treatments that you book in advance.

Something to be aware of if you use to pay for excursions. If you cancel the excursion Carnival will send a gift card via FedEx to you. If you cancel too close to your cruise you may not have in time for your cruise. Some get their card in a week or so, mine took 3 weeks.

I just wanted to clarify something that HawklVette said. Final payment doesn't have anything to do with it. If you want to add a gift card to your onboard S&S account, the only way to do that is on board, either at Guest Services or one of the kiosks. Another option is to buy Cruise Cash prior to your cruise from the online FunShops. Cruise Cash is different in that is will be applied to your S&S account and waiting for you when you get on board. But it's non-refundable, use it or lose it (unless you know how to cash out in the casino).
