What's the best thing you've eaten on an NCL cruise?

My favorite appetizer is the spinach and artichoke dip in O'Sheehan's.  My sister who doesn't eat meat raved about this dip on our last cruise together.

My favorite entree is Filet Mignon in Cagney's.

My favorite dessert is Bananas Foster in the Main Dining room.

We have the option to eat at Onda on one of our upcoming sailings, but I wasn't blown away by the menu. I'm a picky eater though, so you can't really go by me. Everything looks 'contaminated' with seafood or mushrooms, neither of which I eat.

The last few sailings we were on we had better filets at Le Bistro than we did at the actual steak places. So now we skip Cagneys completely - between the sub par meat and the 3+ hour meal... no thanks.

LOL, we would make good eating partners, I would be happy to take all your contaminates and eat them.  The last time I was at Cagneys I was also not as impressed.  I remember it being better, or maybe I am just starting to realize it is not the best specialty restaurant onboard and that in itself is why I am disappointed.  I hope they worked on both the menu and the service pace there during the shutdown.

And now, what was probably my best dinner ever on NCL, at Onda...

Short rib...

*takes notes* I’ve got Onda booked for my August cruise. Maybe I’ll just show that post to the server. “All of these, please, thanks.”

Favorite so far: miso black cod skewers at Food Republic.

I don't think there is any doubt that NCL serves nothing but the finest.  😁

This tells me that they’re making fresh beef stock during the cruise! Nothing better than that for French onion soup, yum…

Honestly - the breaded flounder that's on the every day dinner menu in the MDR was really good.  So good that I had it twice on one cruise (3x over 2 cruises)!

Those asking about the sea bass at Cagney's - I don't think it's there anymore, but I believe I did have it at La Cucina in April, 2019, on that same cruise I had the salmon with creamed leeks at Cagney's and that was great!

Favorite dessert?  the OMG Caramel-Butterscotch cheesecake at Cagney's!

My morning ritual on a cruise is to start the day with a croissant with orange marmalade and eggs benedict.  Even better to enjoy it outside at the Great Outdoors on the ships with that fabulous spot!  I never eat croissants on land - it's just not the same.

For the specialty restaurants, I love the mushroom soup at Le Bistro and the Moderno salad bar.  The grilled pineapple at Moderno can't be beat!
